As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to mark International Workers' Day today May 1, a former Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has asked the Federal government to pay workers between N100, 000 to N250, 000 as monthly remuneration, IGBERETV reports.

Omoyele made the appeal on his Facebook page. He wrote;

"Today is International Workers' Day!

“The labourer is worthy of his wages.”
Pay Nigerian workers a living wage between N100k-N250k"

But practically speaking, where would the money come from though?
Some states still couldn't pay the ₦33,000 minimum wage -- how then can they finance paying 100k? Loans? How will they pay back?

This one always talking like an illiterate despite having a degree and lived abroad for a good part of his adult life.
