airsaylongcome: So where in the write up (if there's any) where it is stated that it is "Bingo" they are talking of? Whether Bingo, Mastiff, Ekuke, German Shepherd or whatever, dog farming is dog farming. Are you even aware that people breed their dogs for crossing (mating) purposes only 1 Like |

Pengician: Non is cheap to rear, everything is cost effective. The question should be which is profitable Goats has its quick return Dog gets profitable when you keep exotic breeds close to an area where security challenge is evident or the rich who value pets Pigery is a very lucrative business and its profitable too depending on your area. 1 Like |

Rearing of goat is more cheaper, but pig is more profitable. |

The cheapest will not be the most profitable! If you have some space a male & female dog is ideal startup. As they grow they will secure the premises, from 1 to 2 yrs they'll get sexually matured for mating. They litter from 5 to 8 sometimes 12 pups, if you had pure breeds you are looking at from 500k to over a million in 2 years depending on breed. If you have pedigrees then we are talking millions. But it doesnt come easy, there are vaccinations, feeding and alot of hard work in caring for them. Feeding is the most financially demanding as dog food aint cheap and big dogs eat alot, but you can cut the cost if you are ready to prepare their food. People with large kernels also gather dog poop as manure for farms. Training dogs comes with multiple benefits; 1. You get to have a pet that is loyal. 2. You get security thats better than human guard. 3. Apart from puppies you can use your male dog for stud service. The money gotten can be used for feeding and the extra puppy trade can be beneficial to your kernels growth. 4. If space is not a problem you can always start raring other animals from the money you have made and your dogs will watch over them. From 2 dogs a big farm is born. 1 Like |

Krublog: Rearing and breeding are two similar but different animal husbandry businesses. When you rear an animal, it's for consumption. Or do people also breed bingo for mating purposes? Or foreign dog breeds for meat? 1 Like |

Goats are the cheapest, but dogs are the most profitable what do you need for goats? not much, it probably takes the least amount of resources, just have some goats. But if you want to make lots of money get a dog farm. There should be more dog farms, everyone wants dogs, there can even be more labour uses for dogs if you really think about it. By all means go pro-dog farm, build a huge dog farm that has all breeds and the dogs get to run around and play with eachother 1 Like

If u're a non Muslim, go into rearing of Dog, cause u won't have any issue of poisoning them, stealing them etc.. I invested half a million into Goat they ended purging, food poisoning & some irregular sickness. I recovered my money with no more than 15% interest after they started dying 😢... Just go for dog especially local one (Bingo) that eat any eatable 😊 1 Like 1 Share |

Hotwest:. There is a difference between small scale and large scale. Those small scale goat farmers in the villages can cope with allowing their goats to roam around. There are lots of nutritious grass and legumes for the goats. But once u confine them in a pen, you must provide them with balanced ration. If not you wont succeed. 1 Like |

Mohisah:. If you know what you're doing, no farm biz is pure luck. You made a big mistake by putting it in the hands of sb. They can't take care of it the way u can. If you don't monitor ur farm manager strictly, forget it. 1 Like 1 Share |
