Why another sea.port in South west? What happens to South South or south east to help decongest Lagos. Nigeria is not a country, its a failed state.
Move one sea port to South East or south south so that development will spread across the country. Ondo and Lagos is almost the same nah. What is wrong with Nigeria pls?

Lekki Deep Sea port was needles in the first place, come to think of it when goods are clear in Lekki they still have to be moved on the road which can potentially cause another OSHODI-APAPA LOCK JAM. I keep on saying this that Lagos State is already too over populated, overdeveloped and over polluted. Everything should not be concentrated into one corner of the country International Airport, 2 Sea ports, A refinery, and so many industries all in one state!
If every Infrastructure was located in New York America will not be what it is today, if every goddamn industry was centered in Johannesburg, South Africa will not be where it is today.

Are the number of ports not getting too much?

These are mega ports expected probably to handle over a million containers yearly. Is there sufficient demand from the Nigerian economy to make more of such ports viable? I feel it may take about 10 years of growth rates hovering 8% or probably more annually to achieve 80-90% capacity utilization in a decades time.

not really, other west African countries are using Lagos ports. The moment we start operating 24/7, boost agriculture and increase manufacturing (mostly in ogun state), all ports in Lagos will explode but Ondo state might kill business for PH and Calabar port. don't forgot badagry port and we might have another port in Itsekiri

At least it will reduce congestion in Lagos and boost the economy of ondo
