What has Awo got to do with anything? The war right?

SE citizenswho had nigerian currency in banks or from rental snd investment income got full value for their money. Those who chose to convert their money into Biafra currency unlinked to gold standard of the time or pegged to any mineral resource got Β£20. They should have gotten zero. How much was the German currency worth to the $ after WW2? Before the war it was 2 Reichmarks to the USD, after the war it was 280 Reichsmark to the USD. Cigarettes were being used for payments instead of the Reichsmark. That's what being on the losing side in a war does. Simple.

If Zik had not opposed the secession clause Awo proposed in the 1960 constitution that allowed any region to leave the Federation, there would be no need for ipob and hundreds of people would not have died needlessly. And to cap it all, if Decree 34 Unification Decree had not been rolled out by Ironsi, we would still have a working federation.

Victimhood and lies in 2023 get easily blown apart.

When people from the previous generation tell you war time stories, do your own research. Awo ke. Leave Awo alone, SE rulers did bad all by themselves.

How nice of him, it's not about roads and bridges but building of factories and industries is key.

He still has more achievement than peter obi.

Or which is more important? Textile factory or beer factory built with state fund in your name?

Uncle @Lalasticlala Gov ikpeazu may not be anybody's favorite, both when he does good, let's praise him
Go to Azikiwe road , you will see individuals buying up shops and filling it with same equipment without any support from government. Infact take a stroll around mosque and see the billions government is overlooking
Okezie is a clueless monumental failure. Only the wicked will choose to praise him.

Excellent conclusion sir.
He is a clueless and confused politician who is not sure whether to be a communist or capitalist, that supports private enterprise.

Abia state should be the best state in Nigeria if not for the horrible governors since inception. Ogbonnaya Onu that makes modern polithieves look like saints. This guy singlehandedly grounded Abia....no clicks ooo. Before Orji Uzor and his mum came with his own version of rascality.
Blood sucking criminals, all of them!

This is not the primary thing he was elected to do.
Provide basic infrastructure: fix road, electricity, security and improve ease of doing business.
Private individuals will build multiples of this.

This man should just do and go. He had the opportunity to turn Abia to the best state in Nigeria, but he fumbled it. This last minute installation of sewing machines is looks hurriedly packaged.

Today, what people called business - like Imported generators are just ways of swindling Nigerians Foreign Currencies!

If I were the governor, I would have established a garment and shoe factories within my first 2 years in office.
Wonder what the numerous Special Advisers were doing.
