Religion as practiced by Africans is the biggest obstacle to Africa’s development.
I was called to help take a sick person to the hospital at about 4am, there were 11 churches within 1 mile of my area, no hospital, not even one before we could get to the nearest one he died. I wondered if we had only one church and the rest put money together to build a non for profit hospital with emergency services, maybe just maybe that guy would have survived. But instead they were busy praying and casting out demons on a guy that was already gone.
The sad of it is maybe, just maybe, that man who died also contributed to churches rather than invest in a hospital nearby. lipsrsealed

You are not far from the truth here, religious people build monsters that end up killing them before their time.

This man has started talking nonsense of late. Does China have churches?
And I hope Buhari, Tinubu and Shettima would have dared contest elections if they were Chinese Compare Chinese president with your President and president-select waiting to happen...same way you would have also voted Tinubu if Xi Ji Ping was a Nigerian.....

As you are castigating and condemning the church also let us know the candidate you voted for in the past elections.....Because good citizens will not vote in bad leaders they can see with their physical eyes and still expect a miracle performance from them....

How can citizens who have had their ability to reason taken away by religious holdings be expected to vote wisely under such conditions? What we see in Nigeria is the foolishness that is the result of indoctrination made manifest in all facets of society and the nation as a whole. undecided

Big lie!

If religion is abolished in Nigeria, it stop people from having false hopes, and face reality squarely.

Religion has enslaved far more than half of the Nigerian population.

For me I don't think so.
One of the problem with Nigeria is religion, we don't practice what we preach.

Not that religion is not good, but it has been used as a tool to commit more atrocities

Of what benefits are all the taxes gathered in this country to the masses?

1. What portion of the masses in fact pay taxes in that country? Use your wonderful brain to explain this to us. undecided

If you have 10,000 businesses in a city, and only 1000 of them pay taxes because 9000 of them are non-taxable religious establishments, what do you think will be the state of things in that city? undecided

This so completely false if you remove religion Nigeria would thrive Infact the country will be better. 30% of Nigeria youths are hellbent on disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood all in the name of worshipping God. I think if we start teaching values and morals ethics and confidence Nigeria would fare better. Not just forcing people to live in fear. Religion is designed to make you live in fear if you sin you die. Who cares. Human beings are the most ruthless species of living things on earth very wicked. We kill and murder humans kill animals destroy to quench our hunger for blood. See I don't want to believe in some holy book who says if I die is either I go to 'l hell or heaven. I don't want to go to heaven same with hell. I don't believe in after life even if it exists I don't want to live when I die. I don't even want to come back if the new world is created. To come and do what again sef. Abegi

I am afraid you are wrong! Religion is largely to blame for robbing Nigerians of their ability to critically reason their condition and the general state of Nigerian society as a whole. You remove religion and re-introduce dependence on individual ability to reason, you will see wonders begin to happen among Nigerians right there in Nigeria. undecided

absolutely
All their amenities are shit and overly expressive compared to private provided ones.
Imagine paying a policeman 300K to choke citizens to death with no recourse

I am sorry, so you would that the government not use our tax naira for anything then? Basically hand over policing, and education fully to private hands? undecided

You are not making any sense. The vast majority of Nigerians do not pay taxes as it is. Why? majorly because many of them can't even afford it and the system being corrupt as it is cannot handle it. Suggesting that government now withdraw the little it does in the way of education so as to allow people pay to the private sector from their own pockets amount to a death sentence to the nation and its economy. Anyways, if you do not see it, then fine. undecided

Yeah they do
But again it's above your brain capacity

[color=#000099]
Yes they can
Yes it is

Suggesting that government now withdraw the little it does in the way of education

[color=#000099]
Less than 1%
[color]

so as to allow people pay to the private sector

[color=#000099]
They already do
[color]

from their own pockets amount to a death sentence to the nation and its economy.

[color=#000099]
So being over dramatic
There's no death sentence
Many survive just fine without "education"
Na una graduates de confused
The masses are surviving just fine
[color]

Anyways, if you do not see it, then fine. undecided
same to you
