If you know how much Nigeria has, you'll be shocked.. they should also ask the minister of petroleum about money being owed to us by those countries we sold crude oil to.

If you check the population of Nigeria with its wealth, you will realize that this country is very poor.

In fact, the budget of one US state is bigger than Nigeria's federal budget. You people need to wake up; Nigeria is not rich!

Yes, Nigeria would have been better if we manage our resources better, but what this country earns now doesn't in any way make her rich at all.

This was the same guy that oversees the flawed APC Gubernatorial Primary Election in Kogi State. SMH for our politicians. Very corrupt set of people.

That's generously assuming we only have 100,000 families though.

Zamfara is not unproductive. That state has the highest gold deposit in Nigeria and probably west Africa as a whole. And they have been mining the gold for long now.

N70 billion is about 1/4 of many state budgets, not even annual expenditure.

Notice the difference between a budget and actual cash at hand.

Indeed, we are not serious in this part of the world.
Obidient are too doll 😉😉😉. He recently criticised emefiele and efcc opened investigation after it. Don’t you know that the cabals and Buhari are trying to protect emefiele

That figure is possible. Do you know the level of illegal gold mining going on in the state, with the blessings of the governor? Aside from this, there are lots of natural resources being mined escaping media coverage?

Like I said in one of my comments in previous threads, the only factories in Zamfara are bread factories. Go there and confirm!

70billion and people are dying of hunger, this one small, make tinubu enter na when una go see the main looting
Re: Bello Matawalle Under Investigation For N70bn Fraud - EFCC by braveboi4life: 5:22pm On May 18, 2023
If matawale, who is a one term governor from a financially challenged state would be under investigation for looting 70billion( 70billiion would be a piece of what would have been stolen), how much do you think the likes of wike, okowa , gandduje, el rufai who are two term governors would have looted.

What pains me is that the masses would support their oppressors for no gain.

Naija is an irony, 😢
Re: Bello Matawalle Under Investigation For N70bn Fraud - EFCC by GreyLaw(m): 5:24pm On May 18, 2023
Useless EFCC. A terribly corrupt organisation more corrupt than evil itself. Una go still fail. Every time media trial. If una get sense una go do all the background checks then nail the man, but no; una go carry matter go read for news. Yeye organisation. How many high profile convictions have you guys got in the past few years? Almost nothing. And the few you got Buhari in his 'magnanimity' gave them state pardon.

As long as people from a section of the country "no near power" many Nigerians are happy to keep suffering. A lot of Nigerians are sadomasochistic.

When you have this many children and wives…it’s not a surprise that state treasury would be used to take care of the multitude of people in his family.

Matawalle has 30 something children with many wives, and extended families as well.

Keep supporting evil and greedy people. Fund meant to medicare, education, and jobs for thousands of people is used to take care of family.
