All this needless Church bashing on this thread.
Derailing the thread needlessly. But hey ho…
Some of us still remember how certain individuals were banned from this thread previously for taking the class monitor to the cleaners on the TV licence debate that year.
But on the current church bashing matter, since the class monitor is personally invested in the matter, it doesn’t matter. Just keep spamming the and derailing the thread.

Please any headup on how I can get an accommodation in Greater Manchester as this seems to be a major challenge.

It is still shocking how someone will be in the comfort of his home, in far away UK, earning his marvelous Pounds sterling , with unrestricted freedom to spend his money how he likes and no one forcing him to pay TITHE.....yet, He is so so so so so concerned about another simple fellow in far away Naija who decides to honour God by sending 10% of his hard earned money to his local church.

No be witchcraft?

Deep down in their souls, they want pastors to be poor and wretched and possibly begging them for daily bread. 😂 😂

Sorry my dear.....e no go happen.

The Church will keep prospering and we don't need your 2 kobo o.

Better find an orphan and train him through school o... make good your boasts of using your TITHE for goodwill.

Hey buddy, I think to a great extent, you charisma and type personality will either improve or impede on your chances of getting a woman.

Now you will have to start socialising, you need to go out and meet people. Look for events near you, take up a skill and learn, stop picking extra shifts and start going out more. Also, if you don't make the move and ask any girl you fancy out, you will continue to be single. You have look around your work place and see that girl that always gives you a listening ear. That's the one. Also it depends on the type girl you want, white or black. If you want black, just go to Redeem church, or download this app Genie.

Thanks for the peep talk. I do appreciate. I have done my best to be honest with you, maybe I'm just not lucky. The past experiences I have had equally contributed in numbing me whenever it comes to that aspect. It's part of the reasons I reached out here. I'm just thinking maybe a recommendation might work than wasting more years trying to know someone who may not be be on the same page with you.

Is the Genie app, a dating app?

So many of our sisters here too Dey find husband so e no suppose hard, should I say you should be more open minded? You are in uk and you are narrowing your search to only Nigerians and to even particular regions, yes it’s your choice but if you are in need urgently then you may need to expand your scope, be more friendly and be in or go to places where you can mix up with more diverse people. I pray you find your desire soon but please don’t put yourself under too much pressure, it’s well

Well, another angle.... Thank you!

One thing is having a past experience and another is letting it define you. You can learn from it, hut don't let it define you. There are certain things you see that will tell you if you are wasting time on a woman or not. Yes thr Genie app is a dating app.

Baba abeg you get info on any one?

Each day, my passion for Agro keeps growing.

I also share thesame drive but easy.... temper the urge to invest back home with caution.

Many diasporeans who invested in Nigeria over the last decade regrettably lost money. Many did that even before getting a mortgage abroad. Interestingly, this issue came up on another thread recently.
When I came, I considered using a cheap loan to purchase grains back home soon after the harvest season and sell after 4-6 months for typically 20-50% profit. Even with such margins, e still no too balance.
Opportunities abound in Nigeria, but I need the currency to stabilise before reopening that book. In the meantime, there are good investment opportunities here... tax free ISA, buy-to-let, SIPP e.t.c which many hardly use fully

rinzylee:

Reminds me of Judas... he was so angry that a lady took a jar of perfume worth a years salary and used it to wash the feet of Jesus grin grin 😂... imagine using £35,000 to wash person feet grin grin

Jokes apart, do you think churches and charities in Nigeria should publish audited financial statements and have more transparency and reasonable oversight on their spending?

Tithes aside, visa holders and naturalised citizens get ready.
Its not just the immigrants responsible, even second generation folks are responsible for failing services. Hehe...

I remember mooting it here that soon enough same folks would question why immigrant mothers have more kids than their white counterparts.

If you eventually have to go back to Nigeria and marry, let the woman remain in Nigeria. The woman will cheat so make sure you do a DNA test on all your children. Don't take the woman to the UK.

Good morning everyone, please I need your help on something confusing.

My parents were issued a 6-month visit visa in 2013 and they came to the UK in May 2013 and used just a few days. Now, I want to apply for a visit visa for them as my partner and I are expecting our first child before December. My question is can they apply for a 2 years visit visa because it has been over 10 years since their first visa?

It’s like there is some voyeuristic orgasm she gets whenever ‘Church’ is mentioned. Even if she’s on Nairaland holiday. As soon as church is mentioned, she will rush to castigate.

What I know - for a fact (and based on my UK experience) and the experience of thousands of others is that we have amazing stories of how God used the Church as a place of comfort for us when we arrived as newbies in this obodo UK.

For every 1 negative experience that some people may have, I dare say there are thousands (nay, millions) of positive experiences. But guess what? A microscopic few, very vocal minority makes it look like the ‘Church’ is a horrible place. Far from it!

Ps: Who else notice that there is this certain individual who is like Justwise’s doppelgänger. Whose moniker starts with the 1st letter of the African country that Priti Patel (and now Suella) wants to send small boat arrivals to. The individual’s moniker ends with the letter of the alphabet that rhymes with eggs. The individual Always, always concurs, seconds or supports any post by Justwise.

Yes you can go for 2yrs but indicate that they will be visiting you from time to time hence the need for two years visa. If they met all requirements their visa will be approved or give. Lesser duration than you requested

What is the kind of job I can find as a 20 hours per week student or how can I find a job in my area. I am staying in Preston, and schooling in Manchester.

I heard warehouse jobs are stressful, and I don't like care jobs, but I like security. I will appreciate someone who can give me tips and advice on what to do

She did not learn anything from Nigel Farage and BNP, she will soon be forgotten. What a silly comment to come from a daughter of an immigrant. She is here today because of multicultural system. Mayor of London, the prime minister and leader of SNP in Scotland all benefited from multicultural system but some how she is having a brain fart.
