Your Eze crossed the line by threatening a state with IPOB terrorists terrorizing the South East.. Or you want to deny the Monday sit at homes and lock downs imposed by Igbos on your people?
That he is 70 means nothing, a terrorist apologist is a potential terrorist. He should face the music and dance.

He crossed the line by talking, Seun stayed on the line by assaulting

Have you ever heard any Igbo man, home and abroad, call IPOB a terrorist group?

Hiw cime it is you non-Igbos, most of whom have never even been to the South East, that wants to tell us South Easterners about what is happening in our own land? Laughable

Some will be in Kafachan claiming to know more about what is happening in Enugu than me in Enugu

Jokers everywhere
The problem is you people don't understand the weight of the law, Buhari went through the Senate and house of representatives for the proscription, your representatives are there. That's why they are there to represent igbos. It doesn't matter if some igbos love Ipob, of course some igbos are part of their terrorist foot soldiers. Yes, I have seen lots of igbos that hate ipob, for example, the ones ipob kill for not obeying their sit at home order. I don't argue with ipob terrorist slaves, so this is my last response to you. You can go join Ipob in the bushes.

Im glad that Seun Kuti has finally regained freedom, detention in Nigeria can be an experience

However, I cannot help but compare the way Seun Kuti was treated, and the way Frederick Nwajiagu, the ceremonial "Eze Ndigbo Ajao estate", was treated.

Both men were arrested in Lagos for alleged crimes and arraigned in the same court. The authorities asked that they both be remanded in custody for 21 days. While Seun Kuti is out in less than a week, Eze Ndigbo, a man of nearly 70 years, was not only was remanded for 21 days, but was slamed with 9 counts of terrorism and is still in detention

Seun Kuti verbally and physically assaulted a Policeman, Eze Ndigbo only talked. While Seun Kuti took action, Eze Ndigbo was more about peace, preserving the lives and property of his people. His only crime was mentioning IPOB.

The double standards in Nigeria is something else

Personal recognition matters alot when dealing with the authorities in Nigeria, Seuns family name has paved way for him, while on the other hand the Eze Ndigbo has not been able to use his influence to get himself out of detention, that is Nigeria for you, there are no fair hearings anymore

The talk has landed him where he rightly belongs and soon they will sentence him to nothing less than 15 years in prison.

Ask Evans the kidnapper how far.. when Yorubas nab you, there is no escape.

Seun is not free, he will be charged to court by the state prosecutor after receiving the case file from the police as instructed by the magistrate.
The Eze was charged by the police direct an took so it took less time.
Although one sees where you are comming from in this matter and it could be said to have some merit. People sha should be careful with their utterances seeing the country is devided politically and ethnically.

Both Seun Kuti and the Eze Ndigbo fellow are both useless, only difference is one of them is more popular since he's the son of a legendary musician. I'm tired of this emotional rants and victim mentality rhetoric Gidgiddy, it's time Igbos stop crying for validation and pity on social media especially to bigots who don't care about you and start holding your leaders more accountable, people like the Eze Ndigbo should have known better! you stay in a hostile environment yet threatened to call IPOB to defend Igbos in Lagos, what was he expecting would be the implication of that? lack of tact and diarrhea mouths don't make you a defender of Igbo interest, it just makes you daft. People like that have only themselves to blame.
I don't know what you people mean by victim mentality ? Do Igbos look like people who can have victim mentality ? If we do we won't be buying up lands of those who killed our people

We are only stating the facts for future reference , people might be reading this 200 years from now ...so they actually understand the situation

Stop this gaslighting....Instead of attacking the oppressor you are attacking the oppressed for saying he is oppressed

What your Eze Ndigbo committed is called treasonable felony against his host by threatening to bring war or cause social disturbances through terrorism, while Seun kuti only committed lesser crime by assaulting a police man on duty. Seun deserves to be release on bail pending when the court will sentence him accordingly. Eze Ndigbo offense is against against a whole state, and his statement indicated he is probably a terrorist capable of unleash horror through his gang.

Hope you understand the difference now.

I've listened to the Eze's audio and he didn't make any threats or whatsoever. He only said if Lagos government cannot protect them and their businesses from hoodlums then he would solicit for IPOB to come secure them. He committed no offense
Re: Seun Kuti Vs Eze Ndigbo Ajao Estate by blancsn1: 7:45am On May 24, 2023
How does your foolish soul protect anyone with ipob that declared sit at home every Monday on your father n mother in Alaigbo, burn Dangote trucks, behead Akuyuli husband, slaughtered many in broad daylight

gidgiddy:

His host? You host a foreigner, you dont host a person in their own country.

Eze Ndigbo threatend nobody, he was talking about protecting lives and property at a time his people and businesses were being attacked in Lagos

Nigeria is a funny place where mere words uttered by a 70 year old man in his house amounts to terrorism worth detaing for months, but verbally and physically assaulting a Police officer gets you out in a week

Something is wrong somewhere

To start with did they commit the same crime, Seun action was violence against a police man, and according to the law its either he is goes to jail or pays a Fine
While Nze Nigbo did not only threaten National interest & unity, he used IPOB (a proscribe terrorist group) that clearly becomes a came of National threat ... what does the constitution.

Sowore spent a long time in jail for Revolutionnow, Adeyanju was also jailed and some other yoruba media activist did you see Yorubas tribalizing it or shouting our Son. I don't want to beleive all Igbos are the same but most of you are just shameless.

No Name in the entire East beats the pedegree of Fela Kuti in Nigeria ... just wondering if Fela was igbo and seun was arrested will Ndigbo keep cool like yorubas watch Seun go to jail .. Must Igbos always do this ViCTIM nonsense

In other words, talking in your living room is a serious act of terrorism that gets one locked up for months, but physically attacking another person gets you released after a week?

Mere talk is far more serious than actions?
