Redoil:
dangote has being having access to cheap and affordable foreign exchange straight from the CBN and Federal government combine.

you can not go to the bank and ask for loans to boost your business

give such support to any industrialist especially from the eastern part of nigeria will still achieve thesame or better result.

i want to use this medium to beg the CBN to give such assistance to every industrialist including farmars
That is what people did not get about the refinery!
Dangote built that refinery on the back of fg grants.loans.buff.eaiverd and CBN.

Without the fg therefinery won't see morning

Sometimes, we are so driven by selfish gains that we lose focus of the big picture and the greater good.

There is always a prize to get for anything you do(good or bad deed). Make everybody enjoy their prize as far as this refinery is concern

The government, especially CBN has been giving billions in loans to farmers and they've been having issues with getting people to pay back. Some people reportedly used the money to even import instead of farming.
The CBN still provided forex for some crucial industries, although it's probably become more difficult with the current situation.

This refinery will forever change this country. Yes, Dangote deserves it and even more for embarking on a project that even the federal government wouldn't dare.

It is not too late.l suggest they bring money and investment in the refinery via purchase of company shares and receive return on investment like dividend at financial year end or trade in the company stock if it is listed on Nigeria Stock Exchange NSE/NGX

All South West states are one...
They all Yorubas

Don't blame anybody. Ogun was not destined to host the refinery. When one is not destined to be a white, he ends up being an albino (unfortunate oyibo)

Biologically what you said makes no absolute sense.

You did not get what the man is saying.

Dangote came to Ondo State first, but The then Governor ran him out for his own ( the Governor) selfish reasons ; the governor was looking for ways to enrich himself.

Okay, and so?

Is the refinery good or not?

Why this fixation with how it was financed, especially when we've heard he's repaid 70% of the loan?

Does the 150,000 jobs created add value? Does the fx saved add value? Does having reliable fuel suppy add value?

You are pained and looking for reasons to complain about something that will be a blessing. Why?

Let me tell you, Dangote has no need to build a refinery to make billions. With just 1 billion he cam easily relax and invest in real estate or engage in forex round tripping to make exponential profits.

He used his innitiative to create something we've been crying out for decades. Yet people like you are still finding reasons not to be happy.

Please examine your heart.

The solution is simple then , if Ogun state missed Dangote's refinery and want it so bad now , let them meet Dangote's competitor , Rabiu of Bua cement to come and site one in their state , let them partner with him, in funds and logistics to get it done ...

At least that one they will be more proud because their efforts were in its existence

I see something different from this headline. The refinery cost Dangote $19B, but funds of same relative amount are often reported stolen by 1 politician or wasted on unfortunate projects.

Failed election, furniture or medical center renovation in ASORock, procurement of fire fighter trucks and many more come to mind.

Make we dey play with the common resources of Nigeria and keep electing bad leaders hoping we will be fine somehow.
