The day of reckoning has come.

You can as well live in the realities of the moment that this is one thing that one man will do at a point in time and has been done.

How it would have been done much better is secondary and irrelevant at the moment.

Ask Innoson if he did not bite the finger that fed him.

GTBank supported him to expand with billions, but he went and forged documents and is today fighting GTBank.

No sane business person would bring refinery to Ogun State.

Continue to blame amosun. He's gone but you're there like an airhead, no visible development has reached the towns in Ogun state. Horrible roads and no progress.
Dapo Abiodun,You should be ashamed of yourself .

dangote has being having access to cheap and affordable foreign exchange straight from the CBN and Federal government combine.

you can not go to the bank and ask for loans to boost your business

give such support to any industrialist especially from the eastern part of nigeria will still achieve thesame or better result.

i want to use this medium to beg the CBN to give such assistance to every industrialist including farmars
Brother this country is curse, most of bank given DANGOTE loan as low as 2% interest rate but it is other people is 17% and above. Go and check the last tax waved to DANGOTE , it is in billions in naira, this man does not pay tax... This country is useless

Okay, and so?

Is the refinery good or not?

Why this fixation with how it was financed, especially when we've heard he's repaid 70% of the loan?

Does the 150,000 jobs created add value? Does the fx saved add value? Does having reliable fuel suppy add value?

You are pained and looking for reasons to complain about something that will be a blessing. Why?

Let me tell you, Dangote has no need to build a refinery to make billions. With just 1 billion he cam easily relax and invest in real estate or engage in forex round tripping to make exponential profits.

He used his innitiative to create something we've been crying out for decades. Yet people like you are still finding reasons not to be happy.

Please examine your heart.
If the dangote inery was built on the backdrop of heavy fg financial support.
It the fg and it's arm that enable the dangote refinery has a huge stake
Is that not so?

Usual lamentations and victim card card playing from the usual suspects. Tell me who had been the CBN governor for the last 10 years? Who had been in charge of the country's monetary and currency policy for a whole decade? Which tribe owned most of the banks and financial institutions in Nigeria.

Must you guys alway lament, why is it impossible for you guys to congratulate anyone who does something great unless he or she is from your tribe.

Hope every intelligent person can now see why some of us rate Tinubu heads and shoulders above the other ordinary Nigerian politicians.

Most of the negative press against him including many of the lands that people claim to be his are all lies.

Some states in a bid to spite him now deliberately choose a bad leader so as not to choose his recommended one. The negative press against the man is too unfair.

Dangote gets waivers from banks and government because he has proven to be creditworthy.

Nigerians have criminal mindsets. Go and ask those loan sharks what they go through in the hands of Nigerians. They borrow money and never pay back.

By the way, Dangote cannot come this far if he doesn't pay taxes. Dangote has constructed critical roads across the country in place of taxes based on agreement reached with the government.

Ogun state citizens know that the former governor hated Dangote so much. He personally went to destroy some of Dangote's stuffs in Ewekoro... There was a time he ordered security personnel to shoot the trucks of Dangote..

Dangote could have gotten him impeached. But for the intervention of statesmen and elders who pleaded with Dangote to overlook things. All Dangote needed was to offer 1billion naira each (that's 26billion naira in total) to the then house of assembly members. That governor would be impeached. Tell me which Assembly member will reject such offer of a lifetime. Yet all Dangote needed to do was to increase his cement price by say 5 or 10 naira just for a week or two. He will realize the 26billion needed for the task not from his pocket but from the public

Shame on the former governor. So vindictive!

Instead of them to lobby Dangote and his likes to bring investments to their region, they show hatred and negativity. They forget that when Oknojo Iweala was there for 4 years she was granting waivers up and down like candies to big business men including igbos. Why didn't they call her out then, as it is the perogative of the finance minister to grant waivers.

It is a norm for the government to render immense support for big employers of labour. It plays the same all over the world. Entrepreneurs don’t get the kind of support Disney, Chase, Wells Fargo, Starbucks, Walmart or FedEx.

They always get special treatment.

But this refinery is not solving an coruption thing. Subsidy will go but pms will go to abt N650-750 and other petroleum prnducts. The subsidy saved will still be stolen. The masses pays. Dangote went to a FTZ so the laws of the country will not affect him.

We don’t know who is right or wrong between the former and incumbent governors on this matter, but Amosun should have seen the bigger picture and the benefit the state would have benefited from that project.

This is what happens when politicians are self-seeking, grandstanding, vengeful and dictatorial.

This also reminds me of how hatred and anger was used to kill the Olokola Free Trade Zone initiated by late Dr Olusegun Agagu.

That is who a visionless leader is & what a dream-killer will do! I bless God, I voted Asiwaju using my Right Index Finger because I know he can do it... A man of vision himself, when he realised that Dangote was given a cold shoulder to establish this, knowing fully well that this massive project can be taken away from SW completely, he have to ensure Dangote plant the project in Lagos what an irony considering the size of Lagos but as a man of vision, he arrange site/location for the project to be planted in Lagos for all true & patriotic Nigerians, that is why Asiwaju is a rare gift from God to Nigeria & for Nigerians as of the moment.

This comment of mine is for TRUE & PATRIOTIC NIGERIANS who mean well for Nigeria as a nation & not for those who call this country a Zoo but struggling to become the president of the same country they spoilt by calling her all manners of illicit names...

God bless all the successors of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu!

God bless all the true, loving & patriotic Nigerians!!!

What do you mean Dangote secured $3 billion loan on the back of the fg? Are you insinuating banks wouldn't loan Dangote money due to his net worth? Banks are pursuing ordinary Nigerians with loans, e con remain Dangote.

What do you mean by financial grant? Are you saying Dangote built his refinery using grants? Or you don't know the meaning of grants.

Most big boys get import waivers from the FG including igbo big guys.

It's the finance minister that approve of import waivers and Okonjo Iweala was accused of giving import waivers like kolanut so much so that the house of assembly quarried her.

So you would have preferred Dangote takes his refinery to other west African countries like Ghana or Guinea abi? And then sell to Nigeria in dollars and marketers continue to enjoy "subsidy ".
Do you know how much dollars the refinery would save for Nigeria?
