Tinubu should be lectured on how to control his speech, this is indeed a damage control and I hope we see some good result

“The public is advised to note that President Bola Tinubu’s declaration that “subsidy is gone” is neither a new development nor an action of his new administration,” the statement reads.

“He was merely communicating the status quo, considering that the previous administration’s budget for fuel subsidy was planned and approved to last for only the first half of the year.

This is what i have been telling people since morning.

The announcement is not new,

Tinubu didn’t even say this. Neither did his spokesman. Lol!

This is one of those media centers in Lagos from campaign. They better keep quiet, they have no authority now and can’t be speaking for the president.

SMH... You see my point about utterances?!!

A nation's President should choose his words carefully at all times!

The man should have just kept quiet...!

Barely a day in office, y'all are already doing major damage control!

Confusion everywhere. Nigerians brace yourselves for tough days ahead because we are our own worst enemies. See the speed at which these hopeless marketers and filling stations began hoarding fuel. Before we blame the government, let us look inwards. Nigerians are terrible and greedy

Damage control can't change what have been damaged already. Since the budget did not capture subsidy from the end of June, 2023 why is he such in a haste to make such pronouncement in may, 2023?
Na today, this one shall also pass. Naija people don buy enough shock absorber since Buhari regime

Manna quit the bloody sycophancy. It is nauseating, disgusting and irritating. We have had eight years of hardship no thanks to your darling Bubu but your hopeless allegiance to the oppressor has blinded you and your ilk to the fact. Now your new President made a very rash statement that has turned the country upsidedown and you are back again capping dust. Don't quote me again so I don't transfer aggression to you and your ancestors

God have mercy...

This man is already making U-turn on his first official statement.

Effect of talking before thinking.

Although, subsidy removal is good and necessary but he did not do it in the right and proper way.
Knowing the kind of country and people in the country, he should have put some instruments in place before going public with that statement.

It is well sha!
pls how is it good and better
