We recently took our adventure riding to THE AWHUM WATERFALL CAVE which is located in a beautiful scenic community, Amaugwe village of Awhum town in Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State. A kind of place that emits old mystic beauty that leaves one feeling like they have been transported back in time.

Located close to the Awhum Monastery (which keeps and preserves the site) Is a 40mins - 90mins walk.. The waterfall is as a result of massive outcrop of granite rock with water cascading over the top forming a stream. A section of the fall, which is 30 meters high, is warm almost all year round.

The water is said to be curative (have healing power) and capable of dispelling evil forces if and wherever it is sprinkled. The site is particularly for religious tourism, due to its miraculous healing powers.

Awhum cave and waterfalls is a place where nature can be felt, seen with your eyes and heard with your ears. The mystic canyons are a perfect example of the power of nature. It's a unique experience that will take you to another world and leave you speechless.
