That's the thing with Nigerian parents. They don't care about how you feel. All they care about is their ego and reputation. Because you refuse to do things their way, they start to threaten you.
And they do all sort of things to hurt your self-esteem and humiliate you thinking you will change not knowing it builds a very large chasm between them and their children. Then they start to wonder why their kids avoid them or stop talking to them as they grow older.

Some issues do not require condemnation or insults or "God" to solve. Sometimes it needs civil conversations, heart to heart talk, confessions, reasoning and above all LOVE.
