The Buhari administration was notorious for not abiding by court judgements and circumventing the constitution. It seems that the Tinubu administration is determined to follow the same path

IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been battling the Nigerian government in various courts for over two years. He has secured nearly 2 billion Naira court judgment in damages against the federal government as well as securing a court of appeal judgement discharging him, and ordering his release. Yet Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention

The federal government is free to appeal whatever court judgment they want, but that does not mean you dont obey the existing judgments while you appeal

Tinubu should prove that his administration will abide by court judgements by immediately releasing Nnamdi Kanu, paying him his 2 billion Naira, and tendering a national apology to the man for keeping him in detention a day longer than necessary after he defeated them in court

Same Nnamdi Kanu that asked IPOB to burn all of Tinubu's Investment in Lagos, Live on video

Well Tinubu has no case with Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu vs DSS

Only DSS prosecutors can determine when to release Kanu since it's a matter of National security

Kanu is a terrorist, he killed Nigerian security operatives, and burnt down prisons. Terrorism borders on national security, the executive must ensure he is punished. Releasing him is throwing Nigeria into chaos, evil people will think they will be rewarded by becoming killers. Op why are you feeling pity for a terrorist and not the hundreds of Nigerians killed by IPoB and ESN, Nnamdi Kanu's terrorists squads.

SO, YOUR IDEA OF THE RULE OF LAW IS TO RELEASE HIM OUTSIDE THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND SET HIM FREE WITHOUT DUE PROCESS OF THE LAW TAKING ITS COURSE.

You are the lawless one with the mentality of a criminal, if you know what lawfulness means with the rule of law.

You, Mr. IGNORAMUS!

Is there any court judgment that currently exists outside the one that has discharged and released Kanu?

Is there any court judgment that currently exists outside the one that has discharged and released Kanu?

A stay of execution was filed and the prosecutors appealed the Judgment.

A Governor who loses at the election tribunal and Court of Appeal is not expected to step down until the Supreme Court decides on the matter.

Similarly, a criminal who is convicted by the Magistrate court, High Court and Court of Appeal can walk free by staying the execution of the lower courts' judgment until the Supreme Court decides on the matter.

Keeping Kanu in custody after the Judgment of the Court of Appeal is legal but may not be ethical because there's a stay of execution against the judgment of the Court of Appeal.

You plus the judge that gave that order and Nnamdi Kanu should be locked up in the DSS underground cell.

That disgusting, dangerous, inciting, treasonous, violence preaching man deserves to rot for 62yrs in that basement cell.

A stay of execution is not a court judgment, it only means that you asked the courts to delay implementing its own judgment

But it takes nothing away from the fact that Nnamdi Kanu has a valid court judgment for release

YES AND THAT SHOWS YOUR IGNORANCE ON THE MATTER.

There is subsisting ruling for a holden charge which vacated the one from your shortsightedness.

Federal government took him to supreme courts, issues of terrorism, murderers, and treasonable offences are matters for supreme court. He has not been freed yet. In matters of terrorism, bail can be refused.
