Try n Cal a fixer to fix it
I add an expirence like that.
If u don't u will pay for ova charging.
The meter would be over charging you
And some times theier wood be light in your house without you Charging it

You may have to call the distribution company that owns the meter, they can fix it remotely.

Call the meter na, it may have some info for you.

My Brother don't call NEPA o , If you call them that's double wahala for your self, there will condemned the meter and put you on monthly billing, just call electrician they can do it for you, is a simple thing, I have experience it in my meter before, exactly, please don't call NEPA 👂👂👂 I'm warning you.

My meter refused to cut off electricity after my units got exhausted instead it started showing call. After I owed a huge debt of about 80K, it cut off electricity and was still showing call. After which I called BEDC staff and they told me the above which I had written. Either I buy 81K worth of recharge card to pay off the debt and have a positive deposit and it will stop showing call or I pay half of the debt then they will take the meter to their office to use whatever to clear it. This was my experience.

On a serious note: I only know of 'CALL HELP' display. i think the current inbuilt battery of the meter is weak even for electricity to power. so contact your Nepa people so they can come and help you change your battery or fix a new one.

Nothing is wrong with your meter your unit has finished, instead of cutting off it will be reading on minus.
When you load they will deduct what you have used on credit.
That is the type of meter I'm using too.
Just load unit anytime you see that.

You have exusted your trip,the Meter is reading in negative and what was consumed will be deducted once you recharge.
Recharge and remove your fuse for 1 minute, fix back the fuse..it will reset.

I have someone who can help you make it work. He's a prepaid meter repair man.

It's something that's not easy to rectify, it's usually abandoned.

Send email if you want to link with him. This what he's done many times seen him done.

Please kindly go to their PHCN Office in your area and ask of the Prepayment Metering Engineering Officer and make your complaint.

Note: No at their gate with touts,who can cause you more damages because not all technicians can work on it.

More reason why the federal government needs to give her citizens the purchasing power to start buying Nigerian made meters like MOMAS(MEMMCOL) then vend the meters under appropiate distrubution company(DISCOS) because we support after sales service like this that won't take forever to rectify.
