80k?! And I was rejoicing that I saw 120k at Enugu! Was it operative or diagnostic u did?
I paid for operative, but after peeping in, I was asking to come back to prime The uterus with zoladex.
You are out for it. For me, the anasthesia they used is the problem. I hate coming out of it. The hallucinations and all that shii.
But its ok. You are good to go in 2hours amd life resumes

Hello great mummies,
I have been following thread for a while and it has really help me in this journey. I have been ttc for almost 4years due to male factor actually motility issue.we are planing of moving to Nigeria for the ivf treatment due to cost here in USA. We recently move to USA, our insurance doesn't cover ivf, can't get finance due to credit history(just move less than a year ago), can't afford $15000 out of pocket right now, and can't wait few more years. We are considering Nigeria mainly due to cost which we can afford right now. Just thought I should tap from knowledge of great mummies here to help us in our decision. We considering using Dr. EMEKA due to testimonies here, will appreciate if I get his cell number also.

Thanks

cost varies, 80k to as much as 250k, i think bridge is about 170k or so, georges lekki is 150k [its on thier website].
its usually diagnoistics, though the doc usually surgically removes any polyps he sees when he goes in....that is why i think the fee is high...if its just o go in n see...shud be about 50k or so..........but due to the stress of going in twice, most hospitals charge you for diagnoistic+operative............but they dont refund you any money...if the view is ok, zero issues grin grin grin.

most hospitals also choose to knock you out, for like 15mins...deep sleep, so you are advised to come with some1 who will drive u home at the end...30mins tops...the procedure is over

@mama that asked about ivf+pgd..............its best you go outside the country.
either 1 or 2 places claim to do it in nigeria, but they still fly the tissue outside for analysis n selection.....which u n i know what could happen if customs or airline has an issue, as the tissue is put in a cryo vessel.

@ Geeneva, I spoke with two clinics that are really good in IVF about sex selection; Medical Art Cente and The Bridge clinic.

Medical Art Will fly your samples abroad as the poster above said. Bridge clinic starts the process here but you have to travel to Czech republic to complete it. However, they said they are thinking of starting and completing the program here fully from January next year, so you may want to wait till then?

Since travelling is not a problem for you, you may want to consider using fakih IVF in Dubai. I think they specialize on family balancing too.

Whatever you decide, please get back to me on my other thread on GD. Thanks.

Hello beautiful e-family, i have been following this thread silently. i must confess that I have really benefited from it. I have been preparing my body for an IVF treatment. I have done all the necessary investigations and awaiting results. I have stayed off supplements, cut down on carbs for now as it increases my BMI (Body mass Index) any suggestions to what I should be taking to replace the supplements and how to prepare my body thoroughly for the procedure in January.

Hi,

Am sorry for the late response.

If my memory doesn't fail me the cost for the ivf was between $2,500 to $3,000 (excluding drugs), which summed up to about $1,200 *but bear in mind drugs differ for everyone*

The name of the Hospital is called (JILLA HOSPITAL) you can google it up for more information.
I was refered by my doctor who is also Indian, and I reside in the middle-east, Dubai to be precise which is just 3hrs plus to India so ticket was very very cheap (about $280 return per person).

The accommodation is inclusive in the hospital bill buttttttttt it's in the hospital compound and it's not fancy, just like a normal hosp room, thou private room with attached toilet & bathroom and electronics.

Lastly feeding in India was a nightmare as I don't like Indian meals at all, unlike my husband so I was basically on fruits and fast food.

You might need to weigh your options well, I opted for it because of my Doctors recommendation and it was quite
close.

Wishing you your BFP soonest!

Hello ManchyBabe. I gathered from your post that you reside in Dubai. I'll like to know how much you know about Fakih IVF Centre in Dubai. This is because I'm considering using them for the process next year. Why did you chose to travel to India instead?

Abeg no vex. I didn't go. I've neva gone. I only watched on Dove Tv. There is anoda going on now in Abuja. Pls tune in if u're still awake.
With ds summation, If Dhea increases estrogen, & fibriod feeds on estrogen, den little existing fibriods mite grow with dhea intake. May God help us.

[quote author=Richard216 post=39839962]Good day Sister

My wife and I used The Bridge Clinic for bringing in our miracle child. I was suffering from a low sperm count and by the Grace of God a family friend referred us to the Clinic where we were welcomed and accepted by the staff. I know many people always complain about the prices but can you really put a price on a child, especially if your heart is set on it? I am now living one of my dreams of being a father. I cant explain how fatherhood has changed my life and contributed to the man I am today. No two cases are ever the same but I do know that they also specialise in IVF and other treatments for both males and females.

Wishing you the very best. Blessings in abundance. [/quote

Hello Richard 216, how much will a round of IVF cost at The Bridge, drugs and all inclusive?

Hi,

The price is between $10,000 - $12,000 (excluding medication). You can give them a call or fill the enquiry form online, they will surely get back to you on the exact cost.

My doctor insisted on India because its cheaper and they offer better services, but mind you India doesn't do gender selection as its prohibited in the country.

@Missymassy Good day sister, I hope you are having a lovely day. My wife and I did our IVF 10 years ago and I think the prices may vary drastically now. I would suggest you maybe try and get in touch with them for a way forward www.thebridgeclinic.com I don't doubt their service. Trust me when I say there is nothing more precious than bringing in a miracle into the world. You will be blessed. Don't lose the fighting spirit. God bless you. Hello everyone!
I'm happy to see that we can discuss about this key treatment on forums in Africa.
Nigerians Doctors have really developed expertise, and some Cameroonians too.

My story: I have two kids, all girls, and my home is very fragile because of that lack of a son. I don't know why I conceive only girls...Because of that, I'm really concerned and I know DH is not happy as he could have been. Not that I don't love my kids because they are of female gender like me; on the contrary, I really work hard to protect them and raise them for them to become God-fearing strong ladies in this manly society.
I've recently started to think about going the route of IVF-PGD in order to have a son as number 3 child, and with God's grace, twin boys smiley!

I'm looking for a serious clinic to do that in Nigeria. Because it is like this service does not exist in my country. I've seen that Fusion Nest Fertility does that...But not sure if that is even where to go. Please let me know:

- What are the most serious clinics in Nigeria?
-Is IVF-PGD permitted by law in Nigeria?
- How much does it cost overall?
would be grateful if could provide links to follow on these questions.
You are all just wonderful! I pray for God's blessings upon you all who desire Him sincerely, in the mighty name of my Lord Jesus-Christ!

My wife is presently using fusion nest. Their modus operandi is professional and they seem to know their onions. I asked about sex selection I think they said its an additional 700k to our IVF procedure

@geeneva Hi my dear... I am fairly new to IVF but would highly recommend The Bridge Clinic. The undivided attention I have received since being a part of their family has been overwhelming. IVF procedure costs vary of course but I can say after such a strenuous journey of not being able to conceive after so long, I am excited and believe the best is yet to come. https://www.thebridgeclinic.com. I am so excited for you and what life changing things will happen to you and for your process. Baby dust unto you. God bless you!

Really?! Such thinly veiled marketing.
I assume you were referring to me thou u quoted the other guy.
I'm not new to Ivf and Well capable of researching choices. Bridge's marketing is becoming underhand and annoying.
Do tell them cost is a huge factor ok? If they are ok, they don't need to create several monikers and several 'testimonies'.
U guys should pay and advertise abeg
