guys know u r all justifiably pissed rite now but lets try and get some perspective sia1 though my pesin messed up today and will rightly be blamed for r failure to qualify that said we missed mountains of chances could easily have been 7-3 in our favour but thats football sometimes his continued use of efe ambrose n yobo has finally been exposed the few times the guineans attacked with intent r defence buckled under think he has learned the hard way that we in no way have a serious backline and should seriously look for replacements. sacking sia1 though tempting is not the solution under him i'v seen return of fluid play and improvement in attack. does he have deficiencies? yes in defence rite now but lets be honest wats the difference btw sia1 n amodu teams? dumb luck! lets all collectively (siasia, players, nff, fans etc) take this on the chin and realise we went good enuf

p.s joel obi should not have been removed that said we scored afta he left we scored know wat they say about hind-sight 20/20

Yeah the match is still on. They are on extra time now and they just gave Okocha red card. Kanu missed a goal just now, but with Adepoju and Yekini's fire, I hope we can win the cup.

Abject defensive performance today,no question about it.sometimes, when the guineans where counter-attacking,Mikel could be seen jogging across the pitch, rather than make an attempt to break up play.i have never relished Mikels game, because it lacks steel, invention creativity and cutting edge.its high time we discovered a genuine defensive midfielder.Until then,,

For those interested: Uganda tie Sudan as the second placed team. If this stays the same than they will be playing to get the second spot.

simply justifies the fact that all those competitions that siasia managed to do well in, that have built his pedigree was not necessarily because of tactical expertise or coaching prowess(which he has shown he has none of today and in the run up to this game) NO, because the players then were all over aged. what goes around comes around.

Siasia has failed.

We deserve a better coach and not a confused man who thinks he is a good coach.

Siasia effed up this game by removing Joel Obi. . .nuff said!

Something tells me more football misery will be inflicted on us before the end of the year with U-23 Dream team & the Super Falcons not qualifying for the London 2012 Olympics undecided

The truth is that we don't have national team, what we have right now is called "head count". They made me waste my fuel

With today's result NFF or whatever  they call themselves should apologise to  Coach Shuaibu . He qualified Nigeria for the World Cup, yet  he was  sacked (infact it happened twice) . Since then Nigeria has had three coaches all with comparatively poorer results.  See Sia Sia 'ordinary' Nation Cup he couldnt qualify inspite of earning double what Shuaibu was earning as Super Eagles Coach!
