Imagine being a major oil producer in the world and your citizens cannot afford to buy the petroleum products from that oil, due to unmitigated hardship.

Quite sad.. !

E go be!

Compare the gross revenue is still twice the size before.

Thats not an achievement. It's because the poor people can't afford it. Civil servants parked their vehicles at home, only going to work 3 times a week because their lean salary can't buy fuel at 500 naira a litre.

Those defending this madness are the worst hit, unfortunately. They're only suffering and smiling. They've been coming out in groups gradually to attack tinubu over the hardship in the land. This is just the beginning

People are no longer buying petrol for their generator to use like before when there is no light.

People are learning to cope.

Is this dividends of democracy?

Yes it is 100%. Spending money to โ€˜burnโ€™ hydrocarbon is waste. Itโ€™s like throwing money into fire. Use the money you are supposed to burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ in your car to better your live instead. Drink ๐Ÿบ, merry, have fun around your neighborhood.

Gross revenue does not mean anything without cost price. The petrol stations are in very bad state economically. Make more gross revenue but very scant profit

Common now! Smuggling was responsible for the 28% reduction? Do you know how many people have stopped purchasing petrol for their cars and generators?

So restricted movement of goods and services . An Economy that is dependent on petroleum products for movement of people, goods and services .. is likely going to face some contractionary pressure.
