He said it the way it appears in the law. The law did not specifically say you must have 25% votes in Abuja. The lawyer is actually right . That is exactly how the law put it. assuming the law says after you have 25% in 3/4 States , you must also have 25% votes in Abuja it would have been a different case. The lawyer is brilliant aswear.

Sorry some of you who can't use your brain to understand clear logical message. Oh, maybe because you are one of the headless mobs, if you can't understand simple clear logic; it is difficult to help you out because it means you are not mature yet in brain to get clear understanding. You are parts of the categories Nnamdi Kanu can easily deceive that Buhari is cloned.

He has logically created room for better future defense if there is any, he is trying to justify that since minimum is 24 states and FCT, making 25 states. He has already logically put FCT as states and proving that Tinubu had 29 states that are more than 25 states required, but trying to prove that obi got only 16 states below 25 states demand. There is nothing conflicting in what he said, you are the one that is still not intellectually mature enough to comprehend simple thing ever

Why didn't he say Obi's own the same way he said Tinubu 's own.
The lawyer is not brilliant, he should have quoted the section of the law that made it mandatory instead.
One simple question and the case is closed.
Judge to Tinubu's , Did your client get 25% in FCT? No the why did you include it in the list of the palces you client got 25%,?

The first thread you guys opened about this nonsense yesterday did not get to the front page so you have to open another one to repeat the same gibberish all over again. Again, this one will fail. Repeating a lie many times and opening thousand le of thread about it will not make it the truth.

The entire final address of Tinubu’s legal team to the court is available on Nairaland. Nowhere did he claim he won 25% in FCT. His team made a strong in defense of his victory and the constitution. Peter Obi’s watery case will be dismissed and no amount of social media lies can change that fact.

The law says 25 percent in 24 States and the FCT.

Why did he say 29?

What he ought to have said is that;

his client Tinubu scored MORE THAN THE REQUIREMENT OF "25 PERCENT IN 24 STATES AND THE FCT"

Him saying 29 states and the FCT is being dubious.

That is your own interpretation. Not 25% votes in Abuja. It says 24 states and Abuja. Since Abuja is not a state. If it is a state it could have been maybe 25 states and Abuja will not be mentioned.
Let me now ask you, is Abuja more populated it more important in electoral value than any state? Assuming s candidate scored 100% of total votes in 36 states and got 0% in Abuja that person cannot be declared a winner? Let us be reasonable now. The matter is however in the court, the judges will determine who wins who does not

Bring out your proof. You don't just say things like that and think it will work. Let Obi take his proof to the tribunal and prove how election was rigged. It's not enough to sit on Nairaland and say things you can't prove.

Abuja voters are not Superior to other Nigerians
It is not the Osu Caste System you are dealing with ,
where some were a Master Race and others were outcastes
Elections aren't like that
Osu Caste System Mentality is making you misunderstand the Constitution
It is very simple
all Nigerian voters are equal

I beg give my message to someone more intelligent than you to read and interprete to you in your mother tongue. It is not for your kind to understand as I pointed out in my text, don't worry you will soon mature to that level of understanding after court rules. Just keep following court judgement, it will soon clear your eyes. I don't have time to argue on frivolous matter.

You don't expect that kind of best Nigerian lawyer to write something what will implicate him especially that many of his other colleagues must have also read before submitting to the court. You are the one who doesn't have that kind of better understanding of his submission, but I have no time to tutor you on comprehension that you should have learnt since secondary school. Teaching you till night will not make any difference expect you patiently wait for the judgement

Yes it says 'and' the and means 24 state and Abuja since Abuja is not a state but it is part of Nigeria however, it is not more important than any other part of the country. Do not worry the day of judgment is near. Nothing like a must of 25% of Abuja votes

In any case what is quoted there only says he had 25% in 29 states of the federation and the FCT (not inclusive of the FCT). Compare the statement with what is said about the respondents own.

Let this whole thing be brought to rest soon so that we can face front.
