How do you expect a guy to open up to you when they were thought from childhood to endure pains and be strong.

A male child runs, misses his steps and falls down, Everyone will tell him not to cry, they will all echo his name and tell him to be a man.

But when that happens to a female child, she will be carried up immediately, checked to see if there's any hurt and then pampered afterwards.

Such orientation has been naturally ingested in them inherently, and so they grew up always sucking up their pains, learning to handle every situation independently in other not to been seen as a weak gender.

Every man have subconsciously learn to adapt in hiding their emotions even from loved ones and solving their problems independently, so don't misinterpret or take it personal when he refuses to open up to you. It's just the way they've been taught to behave.
