Egypt will overtake Nigeria this quarter, thanks to the rudderless leadership of apc and their vain pursuit of igbo phobia.

MXrep:

Ghana is barely 30 million. Meanwhile Egypt with 110 million is far ahead GDP per capita
Lagos is less than 30m yet have multiple times higher GDP than Ghana. Conversely, Ethiopia has 126.5m , second most populous in Africa after Nigeria yet it's not on the list of top 3

Largest economy? Of course Nigeria must be the largest economy considering her population as the largest in Africa.
Anything other than that implies a worse form of recession for Nigeria.

What do you know about economy? All that is in your mind about Nigeria is how to steer Nigeria to become Islamic Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬 to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

Nigeria needs to sit up so that Egypt won't overtake us.

They are seriously trying to catch up, but with Jagaban in place, I expect massive investment in the country and Nigeria will double the lead

How good is this news?
How would the news translate to a better living among the suffering masses?
The human basic needs include ;food, cloth and shelter... Among the three which one has your ”good news” addressed?

If high GDP doesn't translate to high living standards, seh na low GDP will improve standard of living?

undecided
Divide our gdp by our population and compare it with other country’s living standard.

Ignore that retard. I have long stopped wondering how he sleeps at night.
Our GDP has dropped from 10yrs ago, and Egypt's climbing, yet, here they are celebrating. We are retrogressing speedily and will soon be overtaken for good.

Nothing to write home about here. Egypt's population is about half of Nigeria, so what is the big deal and their economy is practically about our size.

If Buhari had maintain the policies he met on ground, I am sure Nigeria's GDP would be at least 50% larger than that of Egypt.

When did we start being the largest economy? Was it just in 2018, or long before that when PDP was in power?

Moreover, what is our rank when the GDP is divided by our over 200 million population
