I am in support of subsidy removal but as far as the politicians are not ready to make sacrifices for this country let the subsidy regime return.
You asked us to endure subsidy but national assembly approved 70 billion for themselves and another 500 billion for Tinubu to swallow.
Are these people humans at all?
Did you ever think they cared about you?.
That's why I pity people that destroy years of fruitful relationship with their neighbors that had always been there for them because of politicians.

We literally warned you people, the only thing being enjoyed by the masses is subsidy and it has been taken away, and they are still leveling taxes on us increasing everything increaseable.

Am not saying Nigerians should not Protest, but don't turn your Protest in Anarchy. That's where we will have big problem if you do........... Peaceful Protest,no destroying of things.

Protests are always peaceful until your politicians unleash their attack dogs on peaceful protesters. Talk to politicians and police.

Glad it started from Edo state before some people will claim it was caused by Obi and his supporters. Hunger will automatically reset everyone's brain and even Tilumbu supporters wont hesitate to hit the street when hunger is done dealing with them.

DeTribalisedCit:
Citizens under the aegis of "Edo Civil Society Organisations" took to the streets to protest the seemingly unending hike of petrol prices.

Despite the disparity in the petrol price across the nation after NNPCL announced increase in pump price to N537 per litre on May 31, a further increment in July took the cost to as high as N617 per litre.

Aggrieved citizens in Edo State took placards in what appears to be the firsts of these protests in the country. Twitter user, Ijeoma Osamor, who shared videos and pictures of the protest said
The protest has started in Benin City, Edo state Capital... "Let the poor breathe,"

Some of the placards bore the inscriptions:

"Reduce cost in governance not increasing fuel price"

"We say No to constant increment in PMS"

"FG fix our refineries"

May God punish you all.

I will not join because FG will soon send hoodlums to attack the protesters.
Lagos will conduct mass burial for 103 ENDSAR victims. October 2020 massacred still fresh.

Any protest not supported by the Yorubas and the Hausas/Fulanis in Nigeria is DOA.

North West and South West together with Kwara, Niger and parts of Kogi will become one country. I spoke it into existence some years back and as you can see it is is slowly taking shape and will eventually come to pass.

I still don't get why a lot of Nigerians believe removing subsidy will benefit the masses? It will only provide More money to embezzle for the political class... the only benefit we get from our persistence useless government is gone because we bought into their b*llshit that it will benefit us(masses)

When Tinubu said:

"Let the poor breathe. Don't suffocate them. We owe them that responsibility".

He was actually talking to Buhari to let us breathe, not to suffocate us because the responsibility of suffocating us, belongs to him being Tinubu.

But na we no understand the message that time.. grin
