Do you notice that David referred to the Christ (Messiah) as "my Lord" ?

But you people are thinking it's all about Israel whereas God only used that nation as means to communicate with the world that's why He singlehandedly rescue the Israelites from Egypt to prove that He is the most high God who is invincible.
After the Messiah that heritage becomes the inheritance of faithful people throughout the world as in anywhere a faithful man or woman could be found he must be called into that family of FAITH.
