To anyone that is looking down on these ladies, get ready for a shocker of your life. Nigeria will beat England and proceed to the semi's. I believe the gals are all spurred up already. I see everyone is banking on Lauren James, just like Oshoala, however it's a team game and not a one man show.

Just one goal against Ireland would have paired us against Denmark, the easier team.

We just hope to scale through against the English side.
Don't mind them. They had every opportunity to kill off the Irish but were playing rubbish. What even annoyed me was the way they were celebrating after the draw against Ireland. That's the height of mediocrity for you. Let's see how they'd get past this in form England side, hoping that we won't be thrashed and disgraced.

For the record πŸ“‰

βœ… 6 games unbeaten for the Super Falcons πŸ¦… now!

βœ… FIRST African team to keep two cleansheets at the FIFA Women's World Cup

βœ… First time going to the knockout stages UNBEATEN!

βœ… FIRST time Nigeria is proceeding out of a group with a positive goal difference (+1)

There's a lot to be optimistic about going into this game.
England are favorites defeating China 6:1 is huge... Cos China is quite a power house in female football

Super falcons made the biggest mistake of their lives against Ireland. They would have won the game to avoid England. Very stupid of them to play defensively against Ireland.

Now, England will trash us. We're out already
Why are you afraid?

Firstly, congratulations to the coach and the girls for getting into the last 16.

The game against England will be tough as they are European champions.

We are very good defensively, we have to retain it but now, I think Randy Waldrum should add more offensive creativity to their training drills. Offensively, we need more possibilities and flair to advance against the English team.
More shooting practices, making our set pieces count, more players arriving into the box without opening us to counters, etc. We need show innovation in our offensive capabilities and we could surprise everyone!!

Go on girls, make history. It’s your turn!!

Lobatan oo, i watched the lioness against China today, The Falcons can never match the pace and aggressive of the lioness.
Any attempt by the Falcons to defend and bank on counter attack will be waste, as Falcons counter are not sharp enough to do the business.
Two players stand out for the lioness, they are James and Hemp. Can the Falcons isolate them? Especially Lauren James, the game can go to extra time and penalty.
I don't want to say end of the road for the Falcons, in football anything can happen.

My advice for the coach is to work on recovery rate when they loose the ball. Given them too much respect will make them punish the Falcons.

Easier wetin? You think football is mathematics? Dey play. Remember when Nigerian men's team were hoping to avoid Italy and prayed for Korea. Well, Korea defeated them and sent them packing. Be careful what you wish for.

This is the end of the road for Falcon of Nigeria. My only prayers is they don't get wallop like they did to PR China today. I am not going to watch the match. I earned my daily bread in England and a blessed country for me and my family. While Nigeria is my father's land where I received everything in my life before I migrated to the UK. May God be with whoever that carry the day IJN.
