But seriously do you need a committee to tell you that VAT on Diesel Is a no brainer? This is just another PR stunt. Even the committee is just starting and yet to conclude and send it's final report. I think this Oyedele guy should just leave the press and face his job. He should not allow these political thieves rubbish his reputation. He is brought in not because of his professional experience, but just to give some form of credibility and impression that this government has an eye for professionals. Finally it is still up to the government to either accept his recommendations or not in their final report and I can bet you if e hook this government the report will be jettisoned. The same way Orosanye report up till now has never been practiced.

NAN Lauds Tinubu Over Appointment Of 400 Level UI Student Into Tax Reform Committee

The immediate past President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Comrade Sunday Asefon, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400 level Economics student of the University of Ibadan, to Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms.

Asefon said in a statement on Wednesday that the appointment was good news to the students’ community, saying it was the first of its kind in the history of Nigeria to have a practically young person appointed to such a powerful presidential committee.
