if you are a brilliant football analyst like you want to be, you would've understood the kind of profile Caicedo is and how DMFs are the hottest prospects out there right now and younger ones at that.Tchoameni was bought for 100m almost 2 years ago, Declan Rice with 1 year remaining on his contract was purchased at 105m, Bellingham 100m,Enzo at 100m. Young defensive Midfielders don't come cheap nowadays, the pros outweigh the cons. Imagine signing a 21 year old with 6 years contract,dude will be 27 after his contract runs out, a 27 year old player is considered to still be in his prime. Having a Midfield trio of 21 year olds offers you atleast 6 to 8 years of stability without looking to the market for another top players in that department. This is the exact thing Madrid is trying to do by bringing in Tchoameni, Bellingham and Camavinga to replace the deadly trio of Modric casemiro Kroos. With this plan, Madrid Midfield will be sorted out for another 7-10 years of stability.
