He has always claimed to be Nigerian but was Born in Togo.

Many of us have always known he is not a Yoruba of Togo but Yoruba of Nigeria whose family moved to Togo before he was born.

He is not from Atakpame where the Togo Yorubas are from.

He is just like the Ghana and Ivory Coast Yorubas whose ancestors migrated there without having any original Yoruba village there.

There is something called orthography
There is an English Orthography
There is a Yoruba orthography IN NIGERIA based on English Orthography. Similar but distinct and often confused

There is a French orthography

All Yoruba do not live in Nigeria
Some are found in Benin republic and do not necessarily used the English derived orthography

The English orthography or English derived orthography in Nigeria is not necessarily the best way to represent Yoruba phonemes and is not used by Frech speaking Yoruba
Comprehension problem. Go back and read my post slowly

Not a Nigerian yoruba does not mean he's not a Yoruba. It's your type that will write epistle and still collect extra sheet only to get f9 when the result comes out

I once saw a video in which he was speaking Yoruba and I couldn't believe how fluent he was. This is someone that was born and brought up away from Yorubaland.

If LP brings him as their Lagos State gubernatorial candidate in 2027, he is winning hands down.
