I fully support Wike on this. I listened to his speech and know exactly what he said. Why would people be speculating on land. They apply for government allocation when all they want to do is not to develop the land but to keep it as assets while those who need land to build cannot find land. Wike is simply saying, if you have been allocated government land in Abuja but have refused to develop it for years, consider the land gone. It will be revoked and reallocated to anyone who will sign an undertaking to finish building within a particular time. This is the death of land speculation.
