Before you make your conclusions, I'd like you to sit down and look at the issue critically. There are a lot of holes in the story from the video to his alleged release. For instance, the guy that originally posted he video came back to say his "company" paid 3.5 million for his release. Come to think of it, gich company, no matter how benevolent they are, will drop such amount for it's employee especially during this period. On the other hand, the commenter in the first post also came back and said the man is from his village and his "friends" were responsible for paying the ransom. Even going ahead to confirm speaking with he same friends.

Now, while I'm neither confirming the veracity of the story nore discarding it's accuracy, I'd encourage restraint.

With fake news flying around, it is easier to be a victim when one becomes emotional without verification.
