My job as a specialist is to fill out a form for blood culture, and note that i am trying to rule out Typhoid fever in my patient. A smart and resourceful medical microbiologist can figure out the rest.

Similarly if I suspect avascular necrosis of the left femoral neck secondary to some disease, my job is to request for an xray and trust that the radiologist will know what to do.

Yesterday I want to general hospital to see a doctor, he recommended that I should run for test, because it was general hospital so I decided to go and do the test in private laboratory, the test lasted for an hour but going back to see the doctor, the hospital have closed, today being Tuesday I want to see the doctor but the nurses said he doesn't come on Tuesday and I'm seriously sick, doctors in the house please help me. Here is the test result

I am happy to learn that you have worked in a hospital for close to two decades. Which specialty are you in and most importantly, are you a doctor?

And while you are at it, blood culture is what I will strongly recommend for anyone with typhoid fever.

Since June, I've been down with itchy throat. I even lost my voice for 9 good days with mild fever.

You might be allergic to dust mites too.

What you have is flu, not typhoid. Take antibiotics for the cough, eg Azithromycin, etc. Take loratidine tabs. Pharmacist will advise you on dosage. Take a lot of water/fluid and fruits.
You will be well.

You are probably allergic to that.
So keep your fridge, ac, fan, surroundings, bedding clean always.

I spent hundreds of thousands of naira treating my child of persistent cough and what have you not knowing its allergy. Loads of histamine and asmathic medication. In fact, I angrily left Nigeria cos no hospital( went to the best so called children's hospital in my city. (Zankli) did the right thing. Zankli did allergy test but insisted its asthma and was pumping this boy asmathic meds and inhalers. I did my research.
When I left Nigeria and went to hospital once, all I have been saying were confirmed. Just allergic reaction to dustmites.
I almost lost another child on their incompetency.

Till date, all good. Can't remember when last any if my kids went to the hospital.

I treat it with herbs and anytime I eat anything that will trigger d ulcer I’ll use tetracycline and dats how I v been treating my chronic gastric ulcer
