I strongly suspect that the narrative that Emefiele could not attend court because he was entering into a plea bargain is obviously false. I just hope he has not been assassinated by Tinubu.

Let Tinubu just release Emefiele if he hasnot already assassinated him.

Is Godwin Emefiele still alive and well?
Was the narrative of a plea deal just cover up for real reason for his absence from last court hearing?

In a working democracy Tinubu would have been impeached for unconstitutionally removing a sitting CBN governor on trumped up charges that were later dropped.

Not to talk of breaching standing court order restraining DSS from arresting him.

Today without any charge being laid on him in court he is still in detention 2 months after his illegal arrest.

If this is the type of government we are happy with in Nigeria, so be it , but don't then start complaining about the state of the country.

How far for the alleged plea deal?

It is looking like there was really no plea deal .

Who else suspects Tinubu's media story about an alleged plea deal was just a smoke screen to explain Emefiele's absence in court.

So what has happened to the plea deal?

If Emefiele is still alive, I pray to yhe gods that he remains strong and justice would favour him eventually.

So at this point Tinubu is officially imprisoning Emefiele without trial.

It is not a legal things .It has to go through Senate or Tenure expiration .political leaders did wrongly bcs Africans celebrated power to the extent that what ever any one in power did they always go away with it. Obasanjo did it, Jonathan did it , Tinubu did it bcs no big force to challenge them.

So apparently according to Tinubu , Godwin Emefiele resigned last month and nobody thought it necessary for him or his lawyer to inform Nigeria.

I strongly suspect Emefiele may have been assassinated by Tinubu but of course when the news is finally released I suspect Tinubu would play ignorant and some it may be blamed on some rogue DSS operative.

Emefiele is on his own. The bald vulture sabi lick politicians nyash. Lick alone...die alone..

Something did not add up, when it was claimed that Emefiele did not attend his last court hearing because he entered a plea bargain, but on the same day it was reported that a court dismissed the human rights case brought by his brothers.

Instead of us hearing about his release under the alleged plea bargain, we first hear Tinubu nominating his replacement as CBN governor, then a few days later , they tell Nigerians that Emefiele resigned as CBN governor last month.

It is looking very likely that my suspicion that he has been killed may not be far from the truth.
