Inthe world of politics everything is almost never what it seems.

Just know that all that almost if not all African countries controlled by European colonial countries and US. Most if not all Arab countries are controlled by US.

sometime I wonder whether even China and Russia are not secretly part of the globalist club, if not themselves under globalist control (whatever that means at this point) .

So all the talk of de-dollarization could very well be just be a well planned script being played out in the public gallery; to advance the globalist agenda to reset the world economy.

Nigeria can not be invited because we have been marked for destruction as we are too powerful and we must never be allowed to know how powerful we are.

You have not heard of a planned BRICS currency although still in concept? You have not heard of free market and and geopolitical alignment of foreign policies?

BRICS is not a military alliance! Is the G7, G20 or G77 a military alliance? You just come and repeat what you heard on bbc!

The goal is a fairer world, more inclusive policies, fighting neocolonial tendencies and western hegemony. We want a global world, not a world where the US sets and dictates to others and if you don’t fall in line, they use their currency and institutions to slap unilateral sanctions on you.

Yes, the Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, graduated from Chicago State University in 1979. The University has confirmed this in its response to Atiku Abubakar's request for discovery.

Tinubu attended Chicago State University from 1977 to 1979, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. The University has a record of Tinubu's enrollment and graduation, and it is willing to provide this information to the Court if the Court orders it to do so.

However, the University is opposing Abubakar's request for discovery of Tinubu's student records from the 1970s. The University believes that this information is not relevant to the Nigerian proceeding, and that it would violate Tinubu's privacy rights.

What's the one benefit of being a member of the bloc?
Whenever I see ignorant posts from people that knows next to nothing about intl trade and how the world works I just laugh.
Imagine someone asking for benefits of being a member of an economic alliance like BRICS.
If this question is coming from a genuine place of not knowing and willing to know it's fine but if it's a rhetorical question I will just laugh at your ignorance.
There's no country that needs to join BRICS at this time of utmost collapse of our economy than Nigeria, Nigeria's trade deficit is almost 90% because we export only crude oil and imports everything, we need to urgently diversify our dependence on USD and find better trade partners and BRICS will give us that opportunity.
Imagine the kind of trades Nigeria can do with Saudi Arabia alone or UAE while this alliance can offer an alternative currency of trade other than USD which will help our economy a lot.
But someone on nairaland is asking for the benefit of BRICS

All I see in requirements here is;
1.Regional or strategic influence
2. Economic trajectory


Nigeria has very little or growing regional influence and a very volatile economy, their contributions to BRICS will be little or none

it has nothing to do with regional influence but rather the ability of a nation to make independent decision without foreign or western influence in particular,if not Ethiopia it self is not influencial
