What a time to be the Chairman of ECOWAS. President Tinubu will be like "Na who send me go take this post'. However, the task is not difficult for him. He should just call emergency meeting of ECOWAS and read the riot act, insisting on the following points though he lacks the requisite credibility at home front:
- Hold credible election.
- Obey the constitution on tenure of office.
- Don't steal money from the public treasury but use it to develop the country.
- Do your best , allow the people chose the next president and hand over power.

African Union wake and smell the coffee. It is time to change the dance steps.

For those who think I am Ignorant that Gabon is not in ECOWAS, the fact is that this Gabon coup and the positive reception by the citizens negatively affects the justification for ECOWAS intervention in Niger where the citizens also received the coup with cheers.

And this your comment dey first page🤦

Tinubu is not a democrat else he won't be conniving with INEC to rig elections

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu I know will always stand for democracy. He suffered and was incarcerated for his fight for democracy and posterity is in his favour today.

The elderly Igbo man removed from office in Gabon after an atrocious third-term agenda is the immediate responsibility of the sub region of Central Africa, sincerely speaking, it's not the job of Asiwaju, Nigeria or Ecowas.

If those people leave would you remain in Nigeria? Lmao

"". It's about changing the way we talk, changing the way we treat each other, being more conscious and less corrupt and criminal minded. Breaking up Nigeria is not the answer, the answer is in the individuals, we make up the system""

Whether he has Igbo ancestry or not, we support the coup. Check online, who are the people celebrating the coup?

We hate injustice

Na your brother dem remove for Gabon.

A few years ago. Ibos on nairalander selected his re-election for a 2nd term. It even made front page. Despite the fact that Ali Obongo and his father robbed Gabon blind and impoverished the country in their combined 54 years hold onto power.

However, Chukwuabiama is great. Anything una touch gets destroyed. You prayed for a coup, and you got a coup in Gabon to displace your corrupt Ibo kinsman. grin

Glad to see that you're now openly hoping for a coup, making you guilty of sedition. In any case, you clearly haven't learned anything from the events of 1966-1970 if you think you and your fellowed embittered tribalists will be the primary beneficiaries of any coup. If your people failed in their attempt to illegally seize power in January 1966, when the officer corps was jam-packed with Igbos, is it now, under a heavily northernised leadership and rank-and-file, that you expect to succeed? Or do you imagine that is the very same northerners you have spent the last decade insulting and cursing, and who your tribal champion Obi alienated through his overtly religious campaigning, who will now favor you over the Yorubas? Keep living in delusion.

A man who is down fears no fall. Go figure.

You can not rig yourself to power, then on top of that loot the country dry and still want to hold Power by all means and don't expect coup... Are you for real

The only reason coup can't work in Nigeria is tribalism ans that's why APC invest heavily on ethnic division
He should invade Niger and see if it won't work. The northerners will simply use the regions against him and make the coup a successful one.
He knows this, that's why he's dragging his feet about the invasion.
