The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu I know will always stand for democracy.

The elderly Igbo man removed from office in Gabon after an atrocious third-term agenda is the immediate responsibility of the sub region of Central Africa, sincerely speaking, it's not the job of Asiwaju, Nigeria or Ecowas.

We have our own issues in Nigeria and ECOWAS and it's not like our Igbo brothers here in Nigeria care. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Re: President Tinubu Reacts To Gabon Coup by Segzy19: 4:09pm On Aug 30, 2023
So what they had in Gabon was not democracy. It was a kind Aristocracy where a family has perpetuated itself in power for decades.

I wonder why AU, ECOWAS has remained blind to those sit-tight civilian leaders that have been running several tenures in governance yet the same ECOWAS is so quick to turn again Niger Republic...

Cameroon's Paul Biya is another sit-tight president. Man has been in power for almost 40 years yet the country isn't better for it. He has been a puppet of France... No president should spend more than two terms. ECOWAS/AU has to look into all these. Otherwise military coup will spread more in Africa...

Go and check out those countries with such military rules, their leaders have been organizing who rigs it all type of elections, after spending billions of tax payers money, these us*less leaders will organize useless elections where elections are conducted like pry school elections.
These same leaders will get into power and milk the people dry. Take a look at Nigeria, I'm using generator now to build software for my foreign clients. It is a shame that after so many decades, we still can't have stable electricity. Like, it is a shame.
Poverty stares at u every corner. I get scared to drive out becus u would see poverty everywhere.
Prcactically all state capitals are in mess.
Nigerians provide their own water,
Nigerians provide their own fire service
Nigerians provide their own electricity
Nigerians provide their own security,
Nigerians provide their own Healthcare
Omo, u wonder what is then the benefit of the so called democracy grin

Demoracy in Nigeria is simply a system designed for the wicked elites to keep eating fats. Go and see how much those military generals get as retirements, those national assembly members, ur past leaders, ur present leaders, governors, etc. This is why they can die for democracy. It doesn't favour Nigerians. Just favour the ruling class and their families.

We have told Nigeria politicians to change the system of govt we run here, they refused. This system won't work. It only make the elites richer.

You can not rig yourself to power, then on top of that loot the country dry and still want to hold Power by all means and don't expect coup... Are you for real

The only reason coup can't work in Nigeria is tribalism ans that's why APC invest heavily on ethnic division

It can work but aftermath will be catastrophic but in immediate and long term.

No benefit for the citizens in a military regime, the people only bear the brunt of sanctions etc...

Walahi Nigeria that's crumbling already, now imagine it with sanctions. A few month is enough to erode any gain from the past 25 years (if theirs any) . Funny thing is that the tyrant won't feel the blunt.....

Glad to see that you're now openly hoping for a coup, making you guilty of sedition. In any case, you clearly haven't learned anything from the events of 1966-1970 if you think you and your fellowed embittered tribalists will be the primary beneficiaries of any coup. If your people failed in their attempt to illegally seize power in January 1966, when the officer corps was jam-packed with Igbos, is it now, under a heavily northernised leadership and rank-and-file, that you expect to succeed? Or do you imagine that is the very same northerners you have spent the last decade insulting and cursing, and who your tribal champion Obi alienated through his overtly religious campaigning, who will now favor you over the Yorubas? Keep living in delusion.

Forget this trabalistic talk. Coup favors no one! not even your tribe. The economic depression that'll follow enh, you'll wish for the worst of buhari and tinubu combine
