Now you comparing business successes with intellectual prowess. Chief Razak Akanni Okoya Is an illiterate and a business mogul too, and does not make he himself learned and competent to lead and get results.

In a global world of today, where communication and broad enlightenment about key subject matters is demanded, Adeleke should. It be found in such gathering.

The same professor you mentioned would have been more successful than their likes if he had such opportunity and start-up capital and support. People like Elon Musk and Zuckerberg, Dangote, Alakija and Mike Adenuga are good examples.

MC Oluomo and Asari Dokubo are rich too, does that make them fit for leadership positions that demand high intellectual brilliance and know-how?

Shouldn’t it be embarrassing that, a state like Osun, that boast of several educational institutions and intellects, is being ruled by a WAEC/NECO certificate holder? Of your answer is yes, then we shouldn’t be complaining about the state of affairs in the country.

People cannot give what they don’t have.

tell me the qualification of mark Zuckerberg and bill gate u mentioned.

Mark might not have graduated with a degree, but he is vast and enlightened in his field, which does not come ordinarily, but by studying. Do you feel an illiterate can come up with the strides he has achieved in social engineering? I believe you have heard him talk?

and who tells u is by only formal education u call someone illiterate? So razaq okoya that can acquired all what he got is an illiterate because he doesn't have formal education? Or ademola because of his education? Pls define illiterate for us. Many graduates can still be refer to as illiterate. And u called him as illiterate upon this.

So you want to be comparing Zukerberg with Adeleke, or MC Oluomo with Bill Gate.

I am sure you have heard Adeleke talk, does he sound like someone with something upstairs? A degree is not the ultimate, but education is the ultimate. When you knowledgeable, vast and updated, it gives you that edge to critical think, communicate and take effective decisions based on resources available at your disposal.

Do you feel Adeleke can basically interprete a statistical data/diagram or design? Do you feel he can effectively communicate if asked to sell his state to investors?

You cannot paint to wood gold, and still make it have same qualities. We talking about a state Governor here, who happens to be leading over 10 million people.

oga, stop comparing. Their profession are different. What adeleke ventured to is different to what mark is doing. So his line is not on tech, he ventured to what he knew he good at. So no comparison at all.

and what is d outcome of oyetola as governor upon his certificate. What is the usefulness of Yaya Bello of kogi despite his qualification. What is the usefulness of Raman of kwara state that even shut down kwara hotel and gave excuse that they don't bring income. What is the usefulness of umahi? And what is the usefulness of okowa. But look at how Tinubu developed Lagos during his time, look at saraki how he turned kwara during his own time.... Check Peter obi record during his time as well and okorocha. These are the best governors upon how they greedy and embezzle money. Same with akpabio. Check wike records in rivers and compare it to amaechi. He was far ahead of ameachi.

and for someone to run a successful business and get to where he is, u think is only by formal education? Get it right bro. Stop this mentality. That's why we are far back. What u have upstairs is more and superior to ur certificate.

Why I stated earlier that you cannot give what you don’t have. Nigerian leaders are corrupt, unpatriotic and non challenged, and it’s the corruptions that renders their intellectual prowess dormant.

Take Okowa for example, he got something upstairs, but corruption has buried it. David Umayi was the best thing that happened to Ebonyi State after slice bread. Of Umayi could achieve much with federal allocations and a low IGR, shouldn’t it be a disgrace that a state like Ogun is stagnant? Such incompetence cannot be attributed to education or illiteracy? It’s greed and corruption.

If you take away corruption and greed, Adeleke still won’t be able to stand in the league of all those you mentioned.

We are talking about a Governor here, not community leader or ward councilor. Many illiterates have been successful in business and other aspects of life, that does not mean they are competent enough for positions.

Portable is a successful musician and businessman, does that make him fit to be a Governor?

With the whole intellectual capacity of Ogun and Osun, both states are usually blessed and gifted, with the worst sets leaders.

Even the same Adebutu that happens to be criticizing, has practically nothing to offer.

Seems the intellects have deserted Ogun and Osun!

Imagine an illiterate ruling over the great Osun state. It’s really sad.
go to ogun state and ask them what Adebutu has done to many household, the road he has constructed with his own personal money,
Re: Alleged LG Funds Diversion: Adebutu Calls For Abiodun’s Impeachment by Jostoman: 6:30am On Aug 31, 2023

All of them are criminals; both Dapo and Ladi...
They are both conmen...

Ladi has no case at the tribunal.... He is being charged with vote buying anyway.... Dapo too no try for dipping hands into the LG funds....
Usually these governors are useless in their second terms ...
In the end, let justice prevail and let the masses breathe
Re: Alleged LG Funds Diversion: Adebutu Calls For Abiodun’s Impeachment by 9jahotblog: 6:37am On Aug 31, 2023
Governor Dapo Abiodun should be impeached for gross misappropriation of public funds that are meant to the good people of Ogun State. All eyes on the judiciary. The tribunal court of justice should sitting in Abeokuta should do the needful and justice on Dapo Abiodun case for the rigging of election last March.

When they want to launch their political career, that’s what they start with. I can never be fooled or cajoled by a Nigerian politician again.

I believe I know all their antics. He will recover that money within 6 months in office, and same people you claim he is helping, will start complaining about him doing nothing.

Which State Governor doesn't collect LGA fund unbehalf of LGA chairmen

They run joint account
It's in the constitution that they run joint accounts. But the constitution made it so that they can also get a share of the state's IGR.
Buhari wanted autonomy fit the LGs. It was the likes of Fayemi who stood against it, took him to court, and they won.
When he attempted it through Constitutional amendment, it was mostly APC states led by Lagos that stood against it

To be honest, Gov. Dapo Abiodun is no governor. One cannot feel his presence in the state unlike his predecessor, Ibikunle Amosun.

It will still result in same thing- LOOTING!

The country needs sincere, dedicated and patriotic leaders. When we have that, Nigeria will work under ANY kind of rule.

What do local government chairmen do with the little they get? Buy SUV’s, vacation family members frequently and amass real estates.

It’s not the system or structure of government. It’s the people.
Even if it will results to looting let the looting gets to the local level people it is better than only a state governor hijacking money meant for 25 local government in his state in addition to the allocation for his state.

Do not place too much stock in "formal" education. The guys in Alaba doing business have more education than any graduate.

I Agree with this Post.

Most Paper Certificate are useless in Nigeria.
