Paul Biya is severely sick and down with dementia. His wife is taking advantage of his ill health to siphon the treasury. Who did this to Africa?

Cameroon's 90-year-old President Paul Biya makes significant changes in the Ministry of Defence.

He has just appointed personnel at the internal and external services of the Ministry.

Biya has been Cameroon's President since 1982. He was the Prime Minister from 1975 to 1982.

You mean like close to 40 years in power

Lol, I just wonder if Cameroonians are that weak??

What have you done personally on your own to better your country, rather than attacking a full country? Do you think it's easy to carry out such feat?

Na so Obasanjแป wanted to sneak in a third term for himself. Had he achieved that, a fourth and consequent terms would have been possible. Thank God he was stopped.

Today, he still bear grudges against those who prevented him while he parades himself as a democratic stateman. cheesy cheesy : cheesy
Something about absolute power corrupting absolutely...

Nigeria democracy is strengthening, one dispensation at a time. Hope we are patient enough to let it grow.

Bruisecruise:
African leaders abused the definition of democracy to the extent that citizens are now celebrating the toppling of the โ€˜demoncraticallyโ€™ elected governments by military authorities.

With time, the military across Africa shall band together to prevent the use of its personnel in keeping these despotic leaders in power. Think about it, what premise is an African politician holding powers against millions of its citizens if it wasnโ€™t for the strength of the brutality of its military forces.

Then again, these compromised head of military formations who are presently settled with billions by the civilian governments as hush money should remember that the soldiers who bare arms and ammunitions capable of destructions are the thousands of unhappy personnel scattered across these formations, not the generals or the colonels.

When itโ€™s time to strike, just like Niger Republic, it might be those tasked with the responsibilities of protecting these civilian dictators that would do the bidding of the citizens.

Africans are, unfortunately, incapable of self-governance.
democracy is d best, but will black Africa always make it look useless.

I don't know about anybody o I see Cameronians as one of the d#mbest people in Africa

Another useless thing that talk nonsense without reasoning. Why can't you for once face your life problem instead of always roping someone in and point your dead beat life problem on them. Everything is France, the population explosive growth its France, their corruption is France, their tribalism is France. People like you make blacks look stupid because you chose Idiocracy over common sense.

To avoid coup, just do the right thing:
- Hold credible election.
- Obey the constitution on tenure of office.
- Don't steal money from the public treasury but use it to develop the country.
- Do your best , allow the people chose the next president and hand over power.
nice one, only foolish people will disagree with u,yet dey are still suffering from bad leadership.

This is 2023. Africa has woken up.
Autocratic democracy is no democracy.
State capture democracy is no democracy.
Unconstitutional democracy is no democracy.

If we can't have a clear election and our elected leaders, then we don't need democracy.

If you like sack everybody and bring in anybody. You will only succeed in putting the people that will take you down.
The wind is blowing and it will blow you away.

How is military rule any better?
