Wether he changes his security o,e no matter, Cameroon is very complex sha,a coup might lead to civil war because the region that have been agitating for freedom since will use it as an excuse to wage war. |

OROSUNBOLB:Nothing will happen. The people you are threatening have experience war and hardship more than you will ever imagine. On this platform, though we abuse ourselves, we know those to fear, and those not to. As someone from non of the major regions, I know the capacity of every region, and yours is the least of all three when it comes to aggression. 1 Like |

BIya is an example of what is wrong with 'democracy' as we have it in Africa. Note that Cameroon previously had a clause limiting presidents to two terms before Biya manipulated their legislature to cancel that clause. He had survived a coup in 1984 and a riot in 2008 which ended in bloody massacres carried out by the same military we will be looking up to to make things right. At the moment it will appear that Cameroonians are resigned to fate and have no willpower left to wrestle with Paul BIya ably supported by the hypocritical France who touts democracy everywhere and yet props up dictator regimes that do its bidding 2 Likes |

Guy has been president since 1983 and had been Prime Minister for 5 years prior. Nonetheless, Cameroon's currency is currently stronger than the Naira. |

Not too happy to have the soldiers take over democratic governments across Africa. But truth be told, what we have in so many African countries in not democracy but aristocracy. Some western countries are their allies. These westerners preach democracy to Africans but they know that there is no democracy in Africa. If you are condemning coup by solders, then you must first condemn the politicians for rigging elections, buying over of electoral umpires, buying over of the judiciary, the police and the military heads as well. This is even more dangerous than military coup. We know that soldiers at a point cannot respect human rights. But did the politicians really respect the right of the citizens when they rigg elections and when they overthrown the wish of the electorates. The only difference may be guns. The politicians have been looting us dry. They are careless, they are allous, they are manipulative and proud. So selfish and self-centred. They have succeeded in dividing Nigerians across religious, ethnic and tribal lines. So tell us how they are better than the military boys? So, if soldiers overthrown a government and put themselves there and if they didn't do well, it is possible for another set to overthrow them too. Change is inevitable π |

Olat4421: Yet we blame the white man. Can you imagine having a young dynamic president . 8 years you move - Cameroun might have had a better economy than Nigeria. The powers just keep installing the same old fart so they continue looting . For even the wife to see her husband like that and not stop him is cruelty |
