Government of lies and deceit. I thought subsidy was eroding our commonwealth according to Mr Babablue.
Now subsidy has been removed, how’re we spending over 1.4trn above revenue in 3 months? Where is the government spending this money?
Does it even make any sense to spend such amounts yet the economy is in turmoil? Aren’t we better off paying subsidy and stabilizing the economy? The government has been channeling the subsidy savings to unknown warehouses even before the economic team kicks off it’s deliverables.

This shows that the fixation with oil revenue is misplaced. Non- oil revenue is what's keeping the govt running.
And we know the non- oil revenue consists more of different kinds of taxes.
Who said Nigerians don't pay tax?
You are right but almost 40% is still a lot and we have had record low daily oil-output. Hopefully with more investments & improved security the figures should improve which should also significantly have a net-positive effect on other sectors like agriculture, blue economy e.t.c

Since you did not learn comprehension back there...

What the article just read out to you is that the former administration spent more than its earnings from January to March but it has reduced now...

I'm not trying to defend the Govt oh..i just wanto point out an error in yo comment....okay so, Subsidy was removed from June (2nd quarter)
Which means It hasn't reflected yet .. according to the report....as at 1st and 2nd quarter.. subsidy was still functional... meaning subsidy was part of the expenditure when this report was compiled

1st quarter is Jan -march
A quarter is usually 3months interval.
Tinubu became president from 2nd quarter...June when subsidy was removed...so this particular report was when subsidy was still being paid....the 1.4trn surplus was after subsidy was removed.
