After the elections, there was anger among members of PDP and those who acted against the party faced backlashes. Since they won the state, they became stronger and I believe that Sheriff will not give APC/LP any more inch.

Pdp is still divided into sheriff/okowa vs ibori camps.apc and lp are gaining ground in delta.agege could have won delta if he united apc and picked his running mate from delta south.delta north were never going to vote APC,only delta south was penetrable.if he picked his deputy from there,got tompolo or manager to his side and then empowered ken pela to divide anioma votes,he would have won.

See,warri north,warri SW ,isoko north,burutu,Patani are all traditional pdp areas,rural with creeks and give pdp bloc votes yet ejele struggled to win there.is it warri South that is dominated by strangers he can win? Sheriff is not as politically savvy as okowa

Delta Central is not a PDP Strong Hold because different people have won elections with different parties in Delta Central.

Out of all the Senatorial districts, only Delta Central has a member in the National House of Assembly who won the election through the Labour Party.

Late Senator Pius Ewherido won his senate election through DPP even Omo-Agege won his first election through the Labour Party.

Delta Central is the only Senatorial District in Delta where different parties have won elections.

If other districts saw beyond parties like the Central, PDP would have long gone from Delta.
