PoliticsRe: June 12 Is The Real Democracy Day - Wole Syinka by 7842I: 2:57pm On Jun 08, 2013
Soyinka is wrong, June 12 was the day a man who we voted into power developed cold feet and ran away in the face of challenges, he did not claim his presidential mandate we gave him on June 12. That day should be penciled down in history as "cowards day"
PoliticsRe: Achebe Drew The World Closer- Obama by 7842I: 5:53pm On Jun 06, 2013
austinkenneth: Be careful how u reply him. He may be here just here to derail this thread.

When we have meaningful discusions on this forum, we should be careful of those who try to throw a thread off topic,so much that the original discussion will be unable to continue even though it may be intentional or unintentional.
Nobody can derail Achebe, the man is getting more and more popular, I heard the pope himself is preparing to make Achebe a saint........... suicide rate in the SW will just rise.......
PoliticsRe: Achebe Drew The World Closer- Obama by 7842I: 5:47pm On Jun 06, 2013
Ola Johnson: Nonsense. It was like reading a tract: no esoteric style.
But you finished the tract of over 400 pages? Bwhahahahahahahah

Achebe described you in his previous book things fall apart, you are like that man that has finished demolishing the plate of akpu and egusi soup before remembering to tell the wife that there is very little salt in the soup grin
PoliticsRe: APC Is Dead On Arrival In Igboland - Uwazuruike by 7842I: 5:42pm On Jun 06, 2013
sunnyolads1: Some people will just be looking for recognition by saying something meaningless like this man Nwazuruike.Without SE vote for APC,does that mean the party will not exists or survive?instead to face his Biafra republic actualisation- doing busy body..sorry!
Where the Igbo voted won in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and will win again. We need to review the population figures of Nigeria.

soyad: When will the Igbos get it right , the way they have always followed where is the gain , Boko Haram will continue to teach them bitter lessons and yet they refuse to learn . The PDP will continue to use the Igbos for as long as they continue to live without principles .Na dem sabi

HAH: If politics is a game of numbers then I think it is the igbos that need APC not vice versa. If APC can get. Majority vote in atleast SW,NW,NE and NC. Then APC don't necessarily need SE.

If we win now na dem go dem decamp like ants.

Natural AGIPs
Somebody tried that in 1993 and failed woefully, MKO.
RomanceRe: Worst Thing You Ever Did To End A Relationship? by 7842I: 5:34pm On Jun 06, 2013
I woke up by 2 am and sneaked into the bathroom, wore the special red robe I arranged with a white skull painted on the front and brought out red candles and incense and started burning them in the bedroom, I threw a pillow at her head and started shaking when she woke up, I had a machete in my right hand as I was approaching the bed where she lay.

Suddenly I started sobbing and confessing to her that I cannot kill her, that I joined a new secret cult and they asked my to bring the head of my most loved girlfriend. She ran out with her underwear and slept in the next flat till morning, she has never came back to collect her clothes and handbag ever since........... she also changed her phone number...........

Ola Johnson: My reading of Chinua Achebe's There Was A Country, which I just finished, has given me a first hand information and confirmation of the lies some people said are in it when it was just published. Though being objective could not be easy, at least subjectivity should be reduced. But in the case of Chinua Achebe, it was glaring.
Thank God, your knowledge has just been enriched by the greatest literary giant in Africa.

MacLovington: .

Na wa oo.

New development on another on-going project!

My supervisor quit last week. I have been doing multiple quotations especially on labour. His turned out up to 60% more expensive and I saved nearly 200k in one case! He got frustrated of the tight monitoring and quit.

Of late he was inflating surface area by 400%. Najia will never settle, there is too much dishonesty.

I am relieved that he threw in the towel. I didn't know how to fire him without causing family rift so I tightened the monitoring.
Truth dey bitter, but I go tell you the truth and if you no like am, go and jump into the lagoon.

You are a sadist, a poor churchrat sadist who thinks that every nigerian is a criminal that wants to steal your money just because he lives in nigeria.

You want to turn to FBi and spy on the life a professional just because you give him job of less than a million. He will be made to slave for you? Wetin? You and your family will haras his life and sack him and you come here to spew rubbish that he ran away because you monitor him close, you owe the man money and you sack him because you no get money to pay the contractor so you sack him

You want to spy on his life and yet you dey jand dey do yahoo yahoo and expect people not to chop ya money, oloshi!

RomanceRe: Ever Received A Rival's Call? by 7842I: 4:16pm On Apr 13, 2013
In my own case my rival was also phucking the girl same time as me. He called to ask me if its true that I am sleeping with his GF. We scheduled to meet and we agreed to continue yanshing the girl without fightig about it.

There were days I see her off on saturday morning and she will sleep in his house that night, that was my biggest mistake, the girl suddenly stopped coming. I went to her house and nearly beat her up for stopping our affair. She came and slept a couple more times and then packed into my rivals flat!

Two weeks later she changed her phone number, I nearly fought the guy with my friends, how dare him monopolize our common girlfriend! The most annoying thing is that she is pregnant for him now and pretends she doesnt know me before!

(Happened to my best friend)

Quaritch: Date: December 14, 1943: US First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt, sponsor and guest of honor at an African Dance Festival held at Carnegie Hall New York photographed during reception held for her before the performance in the art gallety of the hall. With her are Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe (center) Head of the Academy of African Arts and Research which organized the festival and Mbonu Ojike (right) of the University of Chicago representing African students. Both men are described as wearing African robes.

K.O. Mbadiwe (1915-1990), many will recall later emerged as Nigerian nationalist, and federal minister - a very colorful politician who often introduced himself with superlatives during campaigns - " a man of timber and calibre!"
