ileobatojo: LMAO! Lawd have mercy!! So people are really taking a tribalistic moral high ground based on the fact that their own married men chop and clean mouth instead of taking 2 wives? Is this some sort of joke? I was even expecting to hear that Igbo men never cheat on their wives, imagine my shock when I saw that the reason for the superiority is that they cheat but don't marry other wives.
That's not even going into this bullcrap generalization about Yoruba men. Is it tribal or religious? Is it not the Islamic religion that allows multiple wives? What percentage of Christian Yoruba men marry several wives all together? Contribute to the topic or just waka pass. |

My prayer is dat I never have to tax my kids for up keep wen am in my 60s. I cud spend my noney on french lace gele or Cud invest it on bricks and mortar, I chose the later. This is another scenario altogether, and you are right to provide for your old age. But husby must know about it, or do you think himself wants to be begging money from the kids at 60? The only thing I dont support is stealing your own money to build behind your husbands back |

Some things I can't tolerate if dat happens to me I won't leave my oga o, I will move to my house and he can come around as much as he wants. But I can't stay under the same roof, it will kill me. It will only happen if you allow it. Maybe you place your career before your hubby, or you have been so busy planning your getaway that you fail to notice you have become a stranger to him. You could just be the trouble maker...... |

If you say that they marry a thousand wives or have a thousand concubines, that is your opinion. Please try to be civil when you disagree on anything that has to do with Igbo. Dont mind him o jare, the guy don craze patapata, all these cheap cocaine from Colombia don scatter him head finally..........SMH |

They dont have 2 wives but they have concubines or impregnate their house-maids or their Wife's sister like Sullivan? You are correct monkey, we Igbo people dont marry 2 wives but have concubines and we pay raw cash to enjoy ourselves, Yoruba people will give the mistress belle and marry them like QWAM1, 48 children na beans? |

Dude, its you and your family that will live and die in the madness called Nigeria, so it will do you a lot of good to heed your own advice and enjoy the life sentence in the prison your ancestors have built for you. The problem with ignorant fu*ckas like yourself is that you think everyone that speaks up against the injustice you dummies face has an underlying interest. Since I was born, have never witnessed more than I 48hrs of no electricity, cops dont demand bribes at every turn and my congressman will not run off with my Grandma's pension fund. My President wont eat $30,000/day meals, give his wife N4billion to play with, build a N16billion super-mansion for his vice, pardon an international fugitive, boost Subsidy fraud from N200billion to N2.2trillion just so he can have more dough to steal while 85%+ of the population starve to death.
So, I advice YOU and "your peeps to stop complaining also, we should all accept our fate and sit tightly in the ill fated flight 911 called Nigeria, the pilot has since lost control and we are nosediving into the middle of the ocean. Enjoy the crash mate".
What a dunce! Bwhahahahahaha, I must have hit you hard between the balls. Just tell your Afenifere brothers to stop crying for the problems of Nigeria. |

kingoflag: Ummmm........ actually in 1956 Ahmadu Bello said he wanted nothing to do with Igbos, that the North "needed more time", he said he wanted no parts of Nigeria.
Obafemi Awolowo said hed rather have nothing to do with the North, he also said he wanted no parts of a Nigeria.
Nnamdi Azikiwe was to be the tie breaker.... take a wild guess which side he voted.
Yup, now theres a Nigeria. Stop blaming 1967-70 for something that coulda been easily settled 20yrs earlier. Stop looking back and throwing blames, that was the point I was making you understand. We are going to live and die in this maddness so stop complaining and enjoy the life sentence in the prison called Nigeria........and while we are at it, tell your Afenifere peeps to stop complaining also, we should all accept our fate and sit tightly in the ill fated flight 911 called Nigeria, the pilot has since lost control and we are nosediving into the middle of the ocean. fellis: How bizzare.....
Times change. The way we lived 200 years ago is not the way we will live 200 years to come. This is a fact that you men are so reluctant to accept because your jelly soft egos cannot handle the fact that women can manage a career and a family. You want them to sit in the house 24hours so you can lie to yourselves that men are superior to women because women cannot handle jobs that don't involve housework.
My opinion still stands, no marriage at all is better than marriage to an unhelpful sexist bum. We didnt have women crying about their husband impregnating their daughters 200 years ago. Now spot the difference! |

1. The story has nothing to do with Aba or the rubbish the poster posted.
2.This is about power outage and how 2 states handled similar situations, one took care of the situation by being proactive while the other did nothing so tell me what the Aba nonsense got to do with the story.
3. Fake news is irrelevant news that has nothing to do with the topic of discussion Now go back to elementary school and re take your reading and comprehension class...

majority of the igbo guys i know have 2 women in their lives. You are just lying. Igbo men dont even marry their first wives early, and they stay that way. If they have a woman outside its strictly on a cash and bangg arrangement, try his family and you are yesterday's news. |

obowunmi: In my response, I clearly state that in this day and age, this is NOT the time to be a liability to any human being (wife or husband) get your mind right first. I still stand by my statement that if you marry the right person, you will not have a problem of hiding this here and there.... communication is the rule to any successful relationship, even if the person is a family member.
I can't imagine marrying a woman that I can't speak with about my financial transactions. (maybe I'm different, but business savviness is important for me, when choosing a spouse.) You need to read the original post again, the op did not say any of them was a liability to the other. |

majority of the ones i know have more than 1 wife..... one abroad and another one in the village. yes, the average igbo man is good at concealing this stuff but it can be argued that's sheer cowardice! it is when he dies that the 2 wives would lock eyes and all hell would break loose. Igbo men dont marry two wives, period. |

Meanwhile, your own father is a gay that married a woman, while your mother is a lesbian that married a man. Your daughter eats pu$$i like a professional and your sons first orgasm was in his sisters mouth
You gave your wife Aids and she gave you syphyillis. She aborted 3 babies before she met you... the only reason she can concieve is because of black magic.. which is why your children were born abominations.
And don't forget her vagaina smells like rotting fish... and your daughter likes how it tastes. All these going on in your family! Your family dey try o, any you forget to mention about your anus, am sure they have expanded it to size 10 with your boyfriend's long fat pen.nis sorry o |
