PoliticsRe: Why Gowon Can't Write His Memoir by 7842I: 7:34pm On Mar 27, 2013
joeyfire: I honestly believe gowon will never write his memoirs. His role in history is just too dark and I'm sure he tries to forget it.

He was installed as head of state over many of his seniors based on the wishes of the northern elite, due process was murdered and hasn't been properly revived, even after the war some of his gaffes on political and ecocomic matters are the stuff of legend and jokes
The evil that men do, lives with them. The fulani whom he teamed up with to kill Igbos are slowly wiping his ethnic group out. Karma is a hottt biattch!

debetmx: You couldn't have put it better. They keep whining and whingeing and keep blaming us for their mistakes
" Yorubas are the trouble with Nigeria" Lamido Sanusi.

eko ilee: Real men don't run from the battlefield while his men die needlessly for his poor judgement and foolish actions.

Real men accept their situation and hope to do better another day, but they don't cry, moan, point fingers and make silly excuses all day everyday.

You people really need to give it a rest because this daily victim mentality and drama is all played out and pathetic.
There is only one Nigerian General who cried like a baby in front of trouble, his name is Oladipo Diya.

debetmx: Question for 200billion biafra pound?

What does or did ifeajuna and ojukwu have in common?

A. They were the first set of people do run into exile dressed like women.

B. They were the first set of graduates to enlist in d Nigeria Army.

C. They were from the land of the rising sun.

D. They killed a lot of innocent and harmless people.

E. All of the above
There have never been anybody with half the bravery of Ojukwu in the whole of yorubaland, and from the look of things, there will never ever be a war hero of yoruba extraction!

dayokanu: Igbos would never learn let them try the same thing again they would get the same results

The tribe of coward who strike first and run away whose heroes are men who flee warfront

A tribe of wrapper tying males. 45yrs non stop whining
We are not fighting anybody again, its your turn coward. Just face your boko haram war comrades in Lagos. Tell us when you grow some balls to fight them and we shall vacate Lagos for you to fight them.

Gamji007: My major concern is that if the country breaks up, where will all the flat headed self acclaimed jewish spare part dealers move to?

There is definitely going to be high traffic in Ezu river!grin
When has the love of Afenifere for the Igbo grown so big as to worry for where they will go? Split the damn contry and forget what will happen next.
PoliticsRe: OPC Will Defend Yorubaland From Boko-Haram by 7842I: 12:14pm On Mar 25, 2013
sweet_gala: I woke up this morning checked this forum and concluded Nigeria is walking blindly into a civil war, 2015 would be bloody cause PDP would rig APC would attack fiercely people would decamp and traitors would be plenty.

For those claiming OPC talk much and act little. If only you seen some of the senseless murders of poor Hausa in Ibadan back in the late nineties. All the tit for tat killings especially around the bodija market to U.I area.
We are not walking blindly into a civil war, we are walking with eyes wide open. Hausa and yoruba needs to fight while the Igbo needs to vacate to give them chance to know who the most powerful tribe in Nigeria is.

tope33: Here in d south west, I think both religions still avoid bloodshedding.our muslim fellows aren't ike theirs, but you're right, they could still use money as a bait to create d division. I hope it doesn't happen

PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram: Ijora Landlords To Evict Northerners by 7842I: 12:03pm On Mar 25, 2013
utumunta: D civil war in 1967 started with ppl asking others to leave their domain. It is time some politicians stop using d boko haram menace as an opportunity to bring GEJ's inefficiency to the fore.
All hands must be on deck to fish out ds terrorists who are enemies of Nigeria. Unless we have seized to be Nigerians, it behoves on u and i to make ds con3 a better place. Help d security to secure u.
If the people who were forced to leave, chased, rapped and killed in their thousands were allowed to stay in their region after they left to mind their business, we would not be talking of boko haram today. Awolowo made a very grave mistake and his decendants will bear the consequences.
PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram: Ijora Landlords To Evict Northerners by 7842I: 11:59am On Mar 25, 2013
Which religion has more population in yorubaland? Christians or muslems?

Seun.A.Plonker:
I just kept laughing when some tribal warlords said the Yorubas were divided by religion. This news is an eyeopener to all of them.
Sure them yoruba people are now between the devil and the deep blue sea. Parley with muslims and get hurt, seperate yourself from muslems and still get hurt.
PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram: Ijora Landlords To Evict Northerners by 7842I: 11:52am On Mar 25, 2013
BeraBera: For me o, ejecting them would not be the best solution as every Nigerian has the constitutional right to reside in any part of the country of their choice. The landlord's and neighbors just need to shine their eyes, watch their movements, watch thier associates and those who visit them, eavesdrop on them. If any suspicious thing is revealed, they would the report the tenant(s) involved to security agents.
They dont have the luxury of time, you leave them and they will continue to multiply. All those displaced muslims from Chad and Mali are heading to Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Boko-Haram: Ijora Landlords To Evict Northerners by 7842I: 11:48am On Mar 25, 2013
ifihearam: You mean the yoruba muslims abi?
This is where I fear the biggest fights. Yoruba muslims will be sympathetic to the boko harams in case they win the war to islamize the west. Yoruba moslems needs to be watched because they could be hiding bombs in their mansions at VI.

dederocs: Fashola need to turn Lagos to a "police state"
so many hungry people crossing into Lagos,if the status quo remains,Lagos will loose investments.Kidnappers should be severely dealt with-killed when caught.
And terrorists are also heading to lagos in large numbers, they should be severely dealt with also, grant them amnesty!

lafflaff123: Our brothers from ACROSS the River Niger Bridge oh. Okay Xmas don pass and crime don go down and now them dey find MONEY to carry go HOME to SHINE for EASTER.

I have repeatedly said it,BREAK NIGERIA UP and cut the EAST and NORTH AWAY from the rest of everybody and VIOLENCE(NORTH)and CRIME(EAST)will drasticallly go down in the New Nigeria.

Can't even trust anybody from the EAST anymore including their men of God. Okay Mr MOD its okay to block my post but QUOTE ME HERE 99.9% of all the PEOPLE from Across the Bridge to the EAST are criminals(males/females).

Make i ready my PUMP ACTION down when i visit Naija again as i no trust that IBO lawyer wey dey stay opposite my place for Lagos.

I say lets chase them back to the EAST like the Ikwerre did to them in the 60's in Port Harcourt.
Hehehehehe, fear dey catch you? Kpele. You should blame Awolowo for this, Ojukwu divided this nation and Awolowo refused. 40+ years after that and you are begging Igbo people to go?
We are not going anywhere till you people suffer and cry like you are crying now. Ojukwu was right, Awolowo was wronggrin
PoliticsRe: Expatriate Kidnapped In Lagos by 7842I: 11:28am On Mar 25, 2013
ogele: No one was kidnapped, cos if someone was kidnapped, those who relayed the information as in warning their citizens would have mentioned the name of the person that was kidnapped, the name of his country. I see these as a ploy to charge a kind of stillness among the foreigners and Lagosians as well. IS HIGH TIME THEY STOP ALL THESE RUMOURS GOING ON HERE AS REGARDS TO KIDNAPPING IN LAGOS...IS ALL LIES
Yes you are correct, no boko haram boys were arrested at ijora last week, 3 femals were not beheaded in Lagos and the whole nation is safe and calm. Americans are lying, lets continue to live in denial.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Will Lose Nigeria To A Civil War” – Ribadu Calls For Amnesty For Boko by 7842I: 11:23am On Mar 25, 2013
We tried to lose Nigeria in 1967 but Awolowo swung the support to the north. Now we can lose Nigeria without shooting a single gun. Let the boko boys start abeg, we are watching the comedy.
PoliticsRe: Expatriate Kidnapped In Lagos by 7842I: 11:17am On Mar 25, 2013
Titilayoms: Lagos too? Nigeria is in trou ble
I get annoyed whenever I see comments like this. Nigeria has always been in trouble since 1914 but we have been pretending all is well. Till the problem will grow and seize the nation by its neck, you will never confront it.
PoliticsRe: Expatriate Kidnapped In Lagos by 7842I: 11:14am On Mar 25, 2013
BeraBera: Kidnapping here and there! In the South-South, in the North, in the East and in the West again. When will all this end?
We Nigerians need to understand that there are lots of better and legitimate means of making ends meet. Hurting your fellow human being just to make money (from ransom) is wicked and inhuman. We need to start discouraging this act and stop portioning blames.
What should matter to us should not be who did it or who did not do it, but rather a call to stop it, a call for attitudinal change and a call for reorientation. Shikenah
Reorientation in a scattered polity? The very foundations of this nation is shaky and certain injustices were left untreated. I am afraid but this nation may never change. Save your cash under your bed and start making moves to like closer to the border, you may need to sprint across the nearest border soon.
PoliticsRe: Expatriate Kidnapped In Lagos by 7842I: 11:10am On Mar 25, 2013
Jakumo: It may interest you mud-slingers to hear that a MAJOR kidnapping gang, encamped as we speak beside the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, comprises a strict heirarchy of Igbo officers who call the shots, and cowering Yoruba foot-soldiers who do the strong-arm work, in a highly unusual symbiotic criminal enterprise characterized by military discipline and cooperative division of labor.

Numbering a 100 men or more and armed with everything from machettes and muzzle-loaders to assault rifles, this roadside encampment poses a clear and present danger to all motorists who ply that highway, or who visit towns in that axis at any time of the day or night. Outside of the Niger Delta, large bandito encampments of this nature were simply unheard of, until now.

Federal and state law-enforcement agencies are hereby alerted to the armed kidnapper gang encampment located right alongside Nigeria's most strategically vital vehicular highway - the Lagos to Ibadan Expressway. Now is the time to step up aerial surveillance along that key corridor, before Nigeria's current kidnapping and banditry epidemic balloons into a pandemic of utter terror for all.
Post this on the police website and call police or army public contact lines.

Billyonaire: How does he intend to 'defend' yorubaland ? With juju, matchet and dane gun ? What more does Gani's OPC have ? I am not sure you have had an opportunity of even cleaning an AK47, so please cease making these statements.
Let me help coogar out here, Gani adams will be given all the ammo in Nigerian arsenal to fight boko haram. Thats why he is opening his wide muth to say he can defend yorubaland even as he cannot load a common pistol. Yoruba and boasting are twin brothers.

coogar: he said he would defend yorubaland - sharpen your comprehension skills!
in the south west territory, OPC would smash boko haram. it's a different ball game if gani had said he would go to the north and tame boko haram!
Na talk una sabi no fighting, he will defend lagos, just like your warriors of old defended Kwara?
PoliticsRe: OPC Will Defend Yorubaland From Boko-Haram by 7842I: 1:11am On Mar 25, 2013
Negro_Ntns: whats the cost if a suicide bomber hits, say Eko bridge during rush hour?

"massive"!

whats the cost if a helicopter retrofitted with missile hits, say ....the boko haram enclave, wiping out their entire households?

"massive"!

the problem with you guys is you are afraid the international media will label your action and judge your morals for wiping out 500,000 in reprisal for just 50.

Yoruba does not think like that. If a persin is capable of killing 50 of you he will double, triple that, plus more, if he had a single shot to do so. When you get the single shot opportunity to erase his ancestry and progeny on earth....press the button and ask God for forgiveness later.
The opportunity you crave is here already. Be prepared to wipe out Boko haram forever, I am bookmarking this quote and will producwe it at the appointed time.
PoliticsRe: OPC Will Defend Yorubaland From Boko-Haram by 7842I: 1:04am On Mar 25, 2013
coogar: jonathan goodluck made boko haram what they are
goodluck is a fool - all he ought to have done was to crush boko haram from the onset. imagine what the odi youths would have become if obasanjo had looked the other way when his soldiers were executed in the ijaw rainforest!

i will crush boko haram in 30 days.
give me arms/ammunitions, keep the media away and give me 2000 military personnel from the south west. it's easy!!!
So that another pogrom will start in the north and the yoruba will betray him like Awolowo did? The man has learnt from Ojukwu, we are in this together, there is no quick fix solution. The last chance to end this was in 1967, the next will be in 2099.
PoliticsRe: OPC Will Defend Yorubaland From Boko-Haram by 7842I: 12:59am On Mar 25, 2013
Negro_Ntns: but they have plenty to loose and they are just as vulnerable as anyone else. what they do is study the vulnerability of their opponent and attack it. you study their vulnerability as well and you exploit it. there is no group , however deadly or dangerous and tenacious that does not have a vulnerability point.......a point of least resistance! you must study it, surveil it, recreate it, and device a control mechanism for it.
Your grammer too much, land lagos and join the fight now before them pursue your brothers into Cotonou!

Pataki: My friend don't act stewpeed.

1. Did OBJ not visit a Boko Haram den?

2. Was Boko Haram oblivious to visit of OBJ to Baba Fugu?

3. Did the FG approve of OBJ meeting with Baba Fugu?

4. Mention any Igbo general (dead or alive) that can undertake such a mission.

You sissy minded people!
What was the result of the visit, failure. The blood of that innocent man is on OBJ head.
