why is there no proper drainage systems around that axis? The water has no where to pass hence the flooding.

Majority of canals including these areas are blocked by takeaway food packs, container shops, plastic bottles, nylon packs and junks, so this is one of the results you will encounter. Same with majority of market areas in Lagos. Let government attempt to sanitize these places now, they will turn it to tribal wars. So unfortunate. Too much junks are in this country that is consituting nuisances.

Flood caused by dam failure has
killed close to 15000 souls & destroyed
thousands of buildings in Libya and you
don't hear them blaming their government,
but we are here calling govt because of small
flood that damaged a few fridges and
other electrical gadgets...😏😏😏😏

* How can people who can't build their region, build other places??

*How then can people who are poorly governed give Nigeria a good president??

Very true, I remember the days our grand parents had to go to Onitsha to buy goods to fill their shops from Delta.

We igbos actually shot ourselves on the leg the moment we started investing massively in other regions while ignorantly ignoring our own region.

Just imagine.

If the igbos in the North decide to transfer 50% of their investments back to the east same with those in south west and south south. The transformation that will take place in the south east will be beyond expectations.

We are gradually getting to that point shaaa

The prayers you people wished against southwest.
Don’t throw stones in the market place.
You can’t be in southwest and be cursing the people and land and yet expect to reap good from it. It’s just pure insanity

I have worked with igbos and I am telling you the fact.
