Recall that last week during his inspection of Enugu - Onitsha expressway, the Minster of Works and Housing, Nweze D. Umahi criticised the performance of the contractor RCC and MTN giving RCC 48 hours to make all unmotorable sections of the road, motorable. Umahi then sacked the consultant representing MTN who are funding the Enugu -Onitsha expressway rehabilitation project under the government's corporate tax waiver scheme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjs2HRXDDWc

RCC's failure to comply with the Work's Minister's directive was highlighted this week by a container truck in a bad section of the expressway falling onto a bus and killing 5 women. |
