He's actually right. Osinbajo had the highest profile and followership of the intended contestants before and during the APC primaries. Remember he declared his intention in a YouTube broadcast that was watched by quote a number of people. Obi was not even a name to reckon with at the time. Attention only shifted to Obi as a result of the disappointment in the outcome of the APC primaries and the lack of trust in an Atiku - led government. The idea that an Obi / Atiku merger would have produced a stronger movement is just a fallacy. Osinbajo would have been the man.
