Assuming the position of strongest country in the world goes beyond armaments. War has gone beyond the traditional level of just taking weapons to kill each other. Economy, technology, strategic relationships etc play a vital role in modern warfare.

The USA is arguably the only country in the world that its mainland cannot be successfully invaded just like I stated in my lead post.
At present, of all the boxes that determine a powerful country, the USA not only ticks all but do so far above every other country.
Even in battle experience, they arguably have it in abundance than every other country because the USA is basically fighting war every year whether symmetrical/asymmetrical.

This is not an attempt to downgrade Russia and other superpowers but "power" in the real sense of it in this present civilization, the USA is ahead of the pack and everyone knows it.
Have you wondered why more and most countries including almost equally powerful ones like Germany, UK, France etc listen to the US without the US pointing a gun to their heads? There is something that makes them listen...

Palestine, which we now call Israel, was part of Turkey (ottoman) untill the first world war. Turkey which succeeded the Ottoman empire is a Muslim nation and knows its history and loves Palestine.
