Good morning Nairalanders,

Based on the report that, the federal government have increased the National grid from 13,000MW to 14,000MW.

What is the light situation in your area currently? Is it constant or still bad?

I will go first..

My family house at both obalende and around tinubu both in Lagos Island are enjoying almost 24hours..

My office in lekki phase1, they are also enjoying almost 24hours light..

But you see my house in abeokuta, no light there at all, precisely Elega, no light there for the past 1month, and if it comes, it will just be for 2hours and it won't come again, till another 1-2month, this is how it has been since Dapo abiodun came to power

Stable electricity for months now both at Office and at home, Ikoyi Lagos Island.

Ogun state is seriously experiencing Epileptic Power Supply, specifically Power Line "11", days go by without electricity even for 3hours.

Power Line 33 is atleast seeing electricity for few hours daily in the same Ogun ungoverned state tongue

Before I left school in Ilorin, there was always light for 70 to 80% of the day.
Same thing when I got to Ibadan.
There’s room for improvement btw

Lol, Ogun state doesn't have a governor, I don't pity the people who are from there, because no matter how iou convinced them, once they dash them 2k, they will still go ahead and vote for incompetent..

If not that my wife said she doesn't like the life of Lagos, Abeokuta is a no no for me

We dey get light here... They only take light about 3mins and give it back.

I can say it's technically 23.7hrs/day here.

If I buy a gallon of fuel for my gen, it's for emergency when PHCN have issue which usually doesn't last for 2 days they will bring back the light.

A gallon I bought two weeks ago still dey gen, wey I dey carry warm my gen before e spoil grin cheesy

There has been regular supply in the last few months no doubt

But don't get it twisted, LAGOS (IKEDC) for example, the steady supply is mostly experience in an area where the consumers are majorly on prepaid metre.

Relatively better in my area, for some times in my area, there is no day we don't have electricity supply, though they do off it occasionally but we do have substantial electricity supply everyday.
Report from Sango Ota axis of Ogun State.

God Bless Nigeria.

The light has been quite stable here in my area in benin city but for the past 5 days now.

We have been in darkness, they will just flash the light and you won't see it again for the next 4 hours.
