It is back, otherwise, fuel would have been N800 in Lag and N950 in Kano, or more.

Nigerian politicians like to win elections, not to improve Nigeria.

We know and it is okay. let it be back as long as Nigerians don't have to suffer. If subsidy is not paid, Nigerians will still not see the benefit of the money. so, lets keep paying subsidy and let the people breathe

As long as pump price is regulated, fuel subsidy will continue to exist

If they're subsidising the cost, then why are they denying the obvious? Anybody with common sense knows that there's a subsidy, why can't they be transparent? That is the fûcking question here

APC hooligans just too over stupid for normal human beings. Only to defend rubbish left and right na una Sabi

Subsidy was removed at the time the landing cost was such that the pump price was circa N600. International oil prices have since gone up such that the pump price now should be N800. Somehow or the other the government have found a way to subsidize the difference between N600 and N800 because if they allowed the price to reflect the true market price of N800, you are the same people that are programmed to complain. bear in mind subsidy is now illegal. there is no law backing subsidies on petrol, it expired in June.

Pump price before subsidy removal was N175, government was paying subsidy of N425 (600-175) on every litre of petrol. let us assume they are now subsidizing N200 (800-600) through the back door, the country is still better off N425 (previous subsidy) v N625 (subsidy today if subsidy was never removed v current subsidy (N200) which still leaves N425 available for roads, hospitals education etc that would have been burnt in the exhaust pipes of klandcruisers and lexus jeeps.

its not like subsidy is back and yet they are charging users N600....no!!!! the subsidy from N175-600 that was removed remains removed but due to the rise in oil prices and the reality on the ground, the rise from N600 to N800 is being met by the government one way or another.

If I call you a fool now, what will you say?

You said subsidy ended in June and that it's now illegal but you also ended by postulating that subsidy is still being paid. Who appropriated the subsidy being paid at the moment. Bigots sha just full everywhere.

Then what was the purpose to remove it in the first place?

Im sorry I cant help your retarded brain if you cannot work out that the government is still better off by N225/liter. For one thing they have more money than before subsidy removal 2) they dont have to borrow and 3) there is less demand so less overall subsidy and less cross border subsidy

Daft like you, you think running a government is like your mother giving you 200 naira to get her tomatoes?

You are clearly not learned and even if you have a certificate, it is questionable because you just exposed yourself.

How can something be illegal as you even confirmed and you still say government is finding a way to cover the margin? You think government is your nuclear family? Better confine yourself to your low-level poverty stricken corner and not come embarrassing yourself in a public space in the name of attempting to support based on tribal bigotry. I am even closer to your Chicago forger than you sef.

am sure u know subsidy was not removed by apc alone , it is a collective removal by the house and senate . And it’s been passed into law that it will not be subsidized. So your question should be to the entire government not just a party , plus if subsidy is back na house go make that remark and not even nnpcl. Marketers want to milk the country dry na why.

Are you the one that imported the one that landed for #800 . Let the independent marketers come with their dirty deals, they won't sell their fuel. Too much cabalism in Nigeria and it has to stop. Where is nnpc getting the one they are selling at #595, let the independent marketers go there too to import
