What do people expect? Fight the president who he is supposed to work with?
Deny his people of the benefits of working with the central government?
Sure, he might be looking out too for his own interests, but that is politics too. I will never begrudge a politician protecting his own interests, everyone of us do anyway, through our votes. The important thing is for it to be a win-win for everyone
