Members of the US Congress and the British parliament legislative arm of two of the richest countries on the planet do not have official cars, but a poor country like Nigeria will be dashing out 500 luxury 'official' cars every four years to a bunch of know nothing legislators.

I Thank God I dont earn in naira.Nigeria is a very insensitive country. Masses dey suffer, dem dey buy exotic cars.mtcheewww

Whether you earned in Naira or not, you will still spend your money in Naira to buy costly fuel, and gas, and expensive food items in the market.

So stop boasting, because you can't run away from the high standards of living in the country. It affects all.

The greed of the average Nigerian poliitican continues to shine through, even more surprisingly those of LP lawmakers that were supposed to be the defining example for a new democracy. I have no hesitation in saying that, had the outcome of the presidential elections swung Obi's way, we will not have seen a difference. Lawmakers will still award fat salaries and luxurious gifts to themselves, while the sitting president, Obi, watches in compliance. What can he do? Absolutely nothing. The rot is so deep it will take years and years to clean. That's certain, and even an Obi can barely show any determination to clean it.

Nigerian is on an irreparable course to self-destruct based on the current actions of its political class. Evidence of that has already started showing in the short term. In the long term, the result is eventual economic and political tsunamis with no parallel.
.

In all your piece, you failed to mention the man on the wheel himself Amoda Tinibu, instead up keep mentioning Peter Obi, this is sickening! Keep heaping blames on Obi and trying to twist the ugly narratives.

There is massive greed in the society and not just the politicians. The erratic nature of our economy is a effect of greed.

The rot will take many years to clean and that is why it is important to start having leaders like OBI now to begin the cleaning and also ensure his successor is a decent enough is continue the work. How else do you intend to wrestle power from established gangs of thieves?

🤣😂😂 The Sharing of the National Cake Continues . Only Complete Morons believe the following .

1. Elections work in Nigeria and your Votes are important

2. Politicians are working for the benefits of the people who think they elected them.

3. There’s No Money in Nigeria and the Country is Broke

🤣😂
There’s Money in Nigeria Lots of money the masses just don’t have access to it and the Elite make sure to bombard the masses with fairytales of scarcity . Your votes are irrelevant politics is a game the real players know how it works the masses don’t know anything because they’re uninitiated Pawns . Politicians regardless of political affiliation don’t give two fûcks about you yes even your Peter Obi 🤣😂 The sooner you learn the better

As usual you left the problem to attack the symptoms. LP law maker cannot reject what is due them as lawmakers, the leadership approved it, the president approved it, Nigerians who elected them are quiet about it, so why will a handful of first time lawmakers fight their leaders over cars?

u watch big brother naija and porn then think u can discuss politics successful.Ali ndume alone staged a walk out from the senate a few days ago because he didn’t like the way Akpabio was handling proceedings.we expected LP rep members to shake the green chambers in their little way. That’s the only way we would have believed we made a mistake by not voting Obi.Even their national chairman abure told them not to accept the vehicles.they told him to go and sit down.the day some of u will understand that every Nigerian is a thief including bishops is the day thgs will start getting better.

If everybody stop voting then Nigerian Polithiefcians will behave well, some will even lose their lives while trying to snatch ballot papers for a little token...

Imagine voting for people that won't remember you after giving you 1 indomie and 1 matches or #2000.

The poor masses should endure whereas they're cashing out big time.

In the face of unprecedented hardship and poverty, Agbadorians who live in batcher houses and cannot afford one meal in a day would tell you;

*Let us join hands and pray and support this government.
*Now that Tinubu has won, let us wish the government well.
*Let us tighten our belt, it's not the fault of this present government.
*Giive the government a chance, they need time to fix the country.

Now will these make sense to you?

*Let us join hands and curse and oppose this government.
*Now that Tinubu has won, let us wish the government fail.
*Let us loosen our belt and live lavishly, it's the fault of this present government.
*Let's not give the government a chance, they don't need time to fix the country.

I know these SUVs is even small for PDP, APC is still learning from them. But
If LP reps and senators accepted their SUVs, then they have nothing different from APC and every Obidient should look into the mirror and shout mumudient!
From what I've seen since 1999, the fact is, there are no separate political parties, every logos and nomenclature is smoke screen for those who can't see beyond tribal religious sentimentalism to fool along with.

Until there's a mass action against these politicians irrespective of party, religion or ethnicity, they would continue to punish the people they are called to serve, on whose names they were elected.
